A strong gallop is likely with Ka Ying Attack and Gold Patch taking up the running, closely attended by Super Express and Thousand Spirit. GOLD PATCH (5) got back to winning ways last start when scoring by 0.5L as the race favourite over this course and distance. Purton remains in the saddle and h's showing plenty of signs through the early part of his career. Can continue to work his way through the grades. ROBOT LUCKY STAR (10) has been narrowly beaten in two runs at Happy Valley and went for a break after that effort. He's been impressive at the trials coming into this and Atzeni hops in the saddle. He rises in grade, but drops 7kg and can resume on a positive note. SUPER EXPRESS (2) is hard to knock on his recent form, finishing the runner-up behind an in-form galloper last time out when jumping favourite. Blinkers go on now and his latest trial was solid. Back in trip now off a freshen and he can put his best foot forward again. KA YING ATTACK (3) can go one better today from a good draw and with a nice trial under his belt since his latest effort.
