GOLDEN CROWN (8) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 2 lengths over 1600m at this track. Was a winner at the only previous second-up run and looks sure to be in the finish again. ALSHAIN (9) drifted back from his wide draw last start then hit the line hard to score by 1.75 lengths at this track over 1600m. Likely to measure up again. RICK MARVEL (3) finished out of the money two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 11 lengths when fifth in a 1600m contest at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Nicely placed to get the prize. BULLBEAR NANO (4) was beaten 9 lengths into ninth over 1600m at this track last time out. Well placed to bounce back.
