Lord Tresor and Kaju Faith to apply plenty of early pressure over the sprint journey. LORD TRESOR (4) saluted at Kokura two runs ago. Decent effort last time out when in the firing line on the corner before finishing third over 1200m at Chukyo, beaten 2.75 lengths. Nicely placed to return to the winner's list. LAND OF LOVE (1) is back from a nine-week break. Last appeared when an eye-catching second over this distance at Hakodate. Serious chance out of the inside gate. DIADOCHOS (9) resumes. Closed last prep with a comfortable win over this trip at Kyoto on 12 May. Big chance if he finds that form. TOSHIN CURLIN (11) finished out of the money but was not too far away when resuming last start over 1400m at Chukyo. Usually performs well with that run under her belt. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Will prove tough to beat.
