ABBIE (9) is in good form at present. Finished second at her latest appearance over 2150m at Bendigo, beaten 2.5 metres. Big chance based on those recent efforts. HOLD THAT MAGIC (13) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 7 metres from the winner in third over 2150m at Bendigo. Will need an ounce of luck to slot in from this tricky draw but is beautifully placed here and is sure to play a major role. MAGIC LAW (2) is a great chance after a string of sound recent performances, the latest a solid second at this track over 2190m. Hard to find fault. SKY LINDY (10) is also in contention although the draw makes her job a bit tougher.
