GENERAL WOLFFE (3) tackled a Class 6 at Rockhampton last start and did a good job to finish third over 1500m after travelling on the speed. Has raced here over this trip once and filled a minor placing. Major player coming back in grade today. MORDECAI (4) looked no chance on the turn but stormed home to win a BM55 over 1400m at Townsville last time out. Will relish the extra ground at the third run back from a break. Looks the obvious threat. NONDISCLOSURE (1) was rewarded for consistency with a narrow win over the mile at Rockhampton recently. On-pacer who is a proven weight carrier and will be hard to catch again. BELLA TIVACI (2) returned from a seven-week let-up with a plain effort at Rockhampton last Friday. Best form comes at this trip so she is open to sharp improvement. SUGGESTED PLAY: General Wolffe to win the opener.
