Expecting Royal Commodore to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. MAIKROW (4) lightly raced gelding who motored late on resumption when a narrow second over 1000m at Canberra. Blinkers go on for this from the inside draw. No excuses with the sharp weight drop. IDOLISED (5) smart Zoustar filly resuming. Went out a winner at start two from the wide draw over this track and trip last October. Had the two mixed trials and looks well placed with Fitzgerald's 3kg claim. Genuine top-three prospect. ROYAL COMMODORE (1) big jump in grade at second race start when scoring a tough on-pace victory over 1000m at Randwick Kensington. Nock rides again with the claim and sure to be thereabouts. HOT JIVE (7) began poorly and never in the contest when a plugging sixth over 1100m here at her second run back. Drops in class and another who will benefit with the claim. SUGGESTED PLAY: Maikrow to take stopping.
