ANOUK (9) was in a different class last time with a dominant 30 lengths win over 1500m at Kanazawa, making it two wins in a row. Should be involved in the finish. COSMO BASILEUS (7) is a five-start maiden who finished eighth after being prominent at the bend at his most recent outing over 1200m at Sapporo. Among the top chances in what looks a most suitable race. KAZENO ITAZURA (4) was an effortless winner last time over 1400m at Morioka Dirt, scoring by 4 lengths. Is in solid form this time in work, scoring two times and placing on three occasions from eight starts. Expected to be competitive. WHITE SHIP (11) went forward last time and looked a chance on the corner but weakened to finish fourth over 1600m at this track. Worth some thought.
