GOING: S(6)

PERTH RACING NOW HIRING CASUAL STAFF HANDICAP 1000m

Track: SOFT 6   Rain (Max: 17)   Rail: Out 6m Entire.

Bravo Centurion will be prominent with Ain't No Other Man in close attendance. BRAVO CENTURION (6) has been a force to be reckoned with this campaign, continuing to raise the bar and bolting in over this trip by 4.8L last start. He's an exciting commodity moving through the ranks and we mightn't have seen the best of him yet. Should be on the speed and take plenty of catching. UNDER INFLUENCE (3) ran over the top to score as favourite last start and shapes as the main danger after a few key scratchings. LORD GANNICUS (1) will obviously be better over further but could poke into the placings late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bravo Centurion can win again.

Resuming after a break of three-and-a-half months. Finished off last campaign eighth of 13 at Northam Wa Day June 3 over 1600m, soft track; 4 len behind Falcon Trader with 59.5kg at $4. When resuming last campaign third of 7 at Northam Cl5 October 29 over 1400m, 1.5 len behind Belgrano Belle carrying 57kg at $4.50. Trialled well over 1100m recently but this appears too sharp for him.

Third-up today and won third-up previously. Resuming raced on speed throughout when 3rd of 11 at this track in the LR Beaufine on July 13 over 1000m, on a slow track; 2.5 len behind Puli carrying 54kg at $13. Last start 2nd in a small field at this track Rtg 68+ on August 17 over 1000m, slow going 1.5 len behind Ginnivan with 57.5kg at $6. Wouldn't surprise to see her go one better.

On a three run winning streak. At the latest run favourite; won by 5 len at this track Grad Hcp 60+ August 24 over 1000m in heavy going defeating Banks Avenue with 57kg at $1.50. Before that favourite; won by 1.0 len at Pinjarra Cl1 August 14 over 1200m on a rain affected track defeating More Special carrying 60kg at $1.50. Has to raise the bar again but that hasn't been an issue thus far.
