NUM TIME COMMENT
1 03:25 Race 1 1300m
PALMGREN (3) has the clearest profile on paper, debuting for the Shinji Kudo yard with Taichi Nagamori booked and a strong stable record with Hokko Tarumae progeny. The family has already produced winners such as Soy Jaguar and Miranka, and that gives her the most rounded case. FLOWER HOPE S (5) is the main danger through Yuji Uchikoshi, whose debut figures are excellent, and the dam has already left Flower King S, a debut winner over 1400m at Ohi. IKEIKE SHINSHA (2) draws well and has a useful 1300m Kochi reference through Country Victor, who was fourth on debut. JOSHO ALLEZ (4) comes from a stable with sharp debut statistics and has winning siblings, but his immediate family debut record reads a touch less compelling.
2 04:00 Race 2 1300m
ENERGY LUMIERE (1) gets the nod after a clear return to form when second to South One at this track a fortnight ago, beaten a length and holding a margin over Venitienne in the same race. She is still a maiden after five starts, but her latest figure reads as the strongest recent form in this line-up and the inside draw gives her every chance to convert. VENITIENNE (6) has been well found in both starts and was only four and a half lengths away last time after racing prominently, so she remains a genuine danger if that third-up run brings sharper finishing strength. KONDOKOSO (2) resumes after one debut run where the margin was heavy, yet he did make ground late from a difficult position and has more upside than most exposed runners. TOSANO RINDO (10) worked home soundly into fourth behind Maono Sailing last start and is a place threat with another step forward.
3 04:30 Race 3 1300m
MAONO SAILING (2) is the clear top pick after putting the race away decisively over this track and distance last start, winning by four lengths as favourite. That was a sharp response to his prior sixth behind Sansan Kic, and his one win and one placing from three starts at the course and distance gives him the strongest overall profile. THREE GOING (4) is the main danger, having won on debut before running second to Sansan Kic, and she has yet to miss a place in two starts. SMITH BAROWS (6) has to rebound from a plain fourth when beaten over 10 lengths, but his previous win at long odds showed he is capable at this venue and trip. SOUTH ONE (1) was a surprise last-start winner from the back and is proven at the distance, though the sharp form turnaround makes him more a genuine threat than a reliable anchor.
4 05:00 Race 4 1400m
GRAN ORCA (5) is the clear starting point after putting together consecutive wins at this track in 3yo+ C3 company, first beating Photosphere by six lengths and then holding Altstadt by a neck as an odds-on favourite. His record this season is the strongest in the field and he has already beaten Chemin De Roi at this venue. CHEMIN DE ROI (4) answered that defeat with a sharp last-start win over Ironsides, making up strong late ground at big odds, and his long 1400m record gives him a genuine platform. ROUGE BLASON (8) lacks the same winning edge, but her fifth behind Scandinavia in 3yo+ COND grade was solid enough at long odds and she had also been close enough behind Win Imeru. DO FORCE (7) was a beaten favourite when third to Chemin De Roi, though the two-length margin keeps him in the minor-money mix if he repeats that effort.
5 05:30 Race 5 1400m
ALTSTADT (1) is the one to beat after a dominant five-length 3yo+ C3 win at this track, having been narrowly beaten the start prior. His record at this venue is outstanding and the 1400m profile is well established, so he brings the cleanest winning case. POD CONTI (7) was beaten three and a half lengths as favourite last start, but his previous half-length second reads well and he has two wins from four starts at this track and distance. AL HAYL FORT (10) is racing consistently, finishing just over a length from Tiger Wagon last time after a solid second to Kaiser Blitz, and his perfect top-three record at this track keeps him right in the contest. HIT THE GROUND (2) improved to fourth last start and gets weight relief, though her 1400m record keeps her more a placing threat than a dominant winning hope.
6 06:00 Race 6 1600m
MACH RAISING (7) gets the nod after a solid second at this track, beaten a length by Wind Falx, and his overall record at this venue gives him a dependable base. He has yet to place from four attempts around 1600m, but his recent consistency and class profile make him the one to beat. EXTRA NOTE (8) is the obvious danger, chasing a third straight win after beating Waterhouse by two lengths as a prohibitive odds-on favourite and he is proven at this track and distance. TRUE KNIGHT (1) has the best distance credentials of the main hopes, with two wins around 1600m and a first-up second that says he is ready to win again. BIG BAND (4) arrives in winning form after accounting for Lala Jacaranda, though his 1600m record is the clear reservation against making him the top pick.
7 06:35 Race 7 1600m
DIXIE VOGUE (8) brings the clearest recent profile, with two wins and a placing from three starts at this track and a strong overall record of five wins from 14. She was third to Altstadt last start after being near the top of betting, and her prior win over Hideno Blue Sky showed she can make ground and still get the job done. GLINT RITTER (11) is the main danger if he rebounds from a plain ninth behind Wind Falx, as his previous third to Win Imeru and strong track record keep him right in this. ARC OF LIFE (5) was disappointing behind Kaiser Blitz, but the Mombetsu win two back and her five wins from 21 starts give her a live winning case. HAND RANGE (2) returned with a fourth at long odds and looks more a place chance if she builds on that second-up.
8 07:10 Race 8 1400m
ONE LEON (1) is the one to beat after closing strongly into third behind Enjolras at this track, beaten two and a half lengths after looking out of contention. He has two wins and four placings from 14 starts at this track and distance, and the class-drop profile gives him a solid platform. VIADUCT (11) is the main danger on the strength of his latest fourth behind Bratty Kid, where he was big odds but finished with purpose, and his five wins in the past 12 months give his profile extra substance. HOKKO HANAMICHI (6) has the strongest track-and-distance statistics of the main hopes, with three wins and four placings from eleven attempts, and his narrow second to Neujahr two starts back reads well despite a plain latest run. NEUJAHR (5) has to rebound from a ten-length seventh, but her win over Hokko Hanamichi the run prior and strong jockey association keep her in the winning mix.
9 07:40 Race 9 1400m
SIEG SCHWERT (9) brings the most reliable recent profile, with a fourth to Meisho Mikawa after picking up well following a one-length second to Cosmo Luteus. His record at this track and distance is a clear strength, and his past 12 months read well against these. MEISHO KAZUSA (11) was beaten just over six lengths first-up after holding a narrow lead, but he is proven at this venue and trip and has Taichi Nagamori back aboard. TOP AMERICAN (2) has to rebound from a nine-length sixth, yet his prior win from Sunrise Rapport was decisive and his broader recent record keeps him right in the mix. NOBLE RUN (6) improved sharply when second to Enjolras at generous odds and, while his winning strike-rate is modest, that latest effort gives him a genuine minor-winning chance if repeated.
10 08:15 Race 10 1400m
COPANO HAMPTON (7) is favoured to atone after being beaten a neck by Bratty Kid at this track when a dominant odds-on favourite. His prior 3yo+ COND win was decisive, he is five wins and four placings from nine starts around 1400m, and his record at this venue is excellent. BRATTY KID (9) is the clear danger after resuming with that neck win over Copano Hampton, and his three wins and one placing from four starts at this track and distance demand respect. MISTERIO (10) has strung together three wins, the latest over Ascii Art as an odds-on favourite, and stays in the argument with a perfect record alongside Eita Inoue. JUGGERNAUT (2) was unwanted when third behind Mozu Rickey last start, but his win two back at this venue and sound 1400m record give him a genuine place-to-win platform if he reproduces his better finish.
11 08:45 Race 11 1600m
SAIMON PLAISIR (1) looks the most reliable winning option after two sound closing efforts at this venue, finishing fourth behind Dixie Vogue before running fifth to Wind Falx when beaten four and a half lengths. He gets weight relief, has won at this track, and his record around 1600m is strong enough to support the move to today's conditions. NOAH PRESLEY (4) is the obvious danger after a sharper fourth to Chemin De Roi, and his track-and-distance record, plus the return of a winning rider, gives him a genuine winning platform. MINATONO SOTA (2) improved sharply when third to Frere Filles at long odds and can be competitive if he backs that up, although Saimon Plaisir had his measure recently. SERIO VELOCE (7) was plain first-up but is fitter second-up and has already won at this track and distance, making him a sound place-to-win fringe hope if he finds his best.
