Promising type who is ready to make an immediate impact. TOSANO SHUNRAI (5) is on debut for the Shinji Kudo stable. Two-year-old filly by Real Impact from One Of Queens. Serious contender, particularly if solid in the market. SMITH BAROWS (3) is facing the starter for the first time. By Kiseki and comes from the S Beppu stable. Watch for a betting push. DYNA VEIL (4) is on debut. By Novellist and comes from the Yoichi Miyaji stable. Worth watching for a betting push. |

Race 2 1400m
MEINER VISION (1) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 1400m at this track. Drawn to take a nice trail just off the speed. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is one of the main contenders. THREE ROSE (7) turned in a better run last time to finish third over 1600m at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Looks well placed so expect another big run. BELLE VIOLETTE (10) lifted strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1400m at this track. Going up a level this time but she is good enough to play a major role. HOKULEA (4) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 1400m at this track after being handy for much of the way. Likely improver who should be in the mix. |

Goes up a rung or two but he is up to the task. NITTO RAIJIN (3) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 1.75 lengths back in fourth over 1600m at this track.
