A PLUS EVENT HIRE MAIDEN 1200m
Strong tempo from Areduet, Ole Grande and Dust Aside. DUST ASIDE (4) gave away a big start and never came on when resuming last start, finishing ninth over 1100m at this track. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. BONDI QUEEN (12) tackled a dirt track for the first time last start when second-up from a spell, finishing fourth and beaten 5.5 lengths over 1100m at this track. Can play a leading role. OLE GRANDE (3) impressed last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in third over 1300m at this track after being prominent at the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. ANGEL LIKE YOU (10) finished 10 lengths from the winner in sixth at her most recent outing over 1300m at this track. Well placed on this occasion and is a likely improver. LADY MAYFLOWER (6) won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dust Aside gets the nod in the opener. |

SEVEN WEST MEDIA HANDICAP 1100m
Plenty of pressure with Beyond The Wall, Finado and Purple Circle leading the charge. DELICATE RULER (1) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and found a forward position then knocked up in the straight to finish eighth over 1435m at this track. Will go forward and be in this for a long way, with an improved effort on the cards. FINADO (5) started at $3.50 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths at this track over 1200m after being in contention on the turn. Finds a nice race and can make amends. SHASFA (12) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when tenth over 1000m at this track. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. OUTLAW MUSIC (9) returned from a break and was on dirt for the first time last start when 3.5 lengths back in third over 1200m at this track. Has a high cruising speed. Not to be discounted. BEYOND THE WALL (2) can feature in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Delicate Ruler can bounce back to his best. |

MMM SOUTHERN CROSS AUSTEREO HANDICAP 1780m
Solid tempo anticipated with Fortune's Luck and Magnaburma pressing forward with Do It Right not far away. WOLFMAN (8) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 1435m at this track. Should run very well. KINGS SICARIO (4) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 1600m at this track. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. LAUTRE (1) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 1435m at this track. Sound record at this distance with two wins and six minor placings from 11 runs and is right in the mix. DO IT RIGHT (7) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by a nose over 1600m at this track. Will be better for that latest run and must be included. STAR TESTYMONY (3) can play a leading role first-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Wolfman looks the one. |

KIMBERLEY SECURITY SYSTEMS HANDICAP 1615m
Street Maschino should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest. BEATS OF WAR (6) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing ninth after starting at $7.50. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. ZORBRIST (5) was well fancied last start over 1435m at this track when fourth, beaten 5 lengths. Deserves another chance. STREET MASCHINO (12) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1600m at this track after he was in contention on the corner. Should be peaking now and can find peak form this time. LUCKY LANDING (4) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was prominent at the turn before being beaten 5 lengths into fifth over 1435m at this track. Fitter so expect a better run this time. IMA WILD GIRL (10) can go one better without surprising. SUGGESTED PLAY: Beats Of War goes on top. |

TASSAL HANDICAP 1435m
Solid tempo with Power To Rule leading from The Top Bar and Rulesque. LEAVING LAS VEGAS (1) drifted back from his wide draw last start then hit the line hard to score by a head at this track over 1435m. Rates highly and should go well again. POWER TO RULE (12) finished 5 lengths adrift in seventh last time at this track in a disappointing performance. Likely improver with strong prospects. SEMPRE (3) recorded his first win last start over 1300m at this track, getting home by 0.9 lengths. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again. THE TOP BAR (2) finished third two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 2.5 lengths over 1200m at this track. Finds a suitable race and can make it two in succession. SCHUHBECK (10) is racing in top order and can't be left out of calculations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaving Las Vegas can repeat the dose. |

LIFT AND RIG HANDICAP 1435m
A few sit handy but there won't be a great deal of early pressure. HOUSEWIFE (12) was an effortless winner last time over 1435m at this track, scoring by 3.5 lengths. In form and expected to be in the finish again. MUSGRAVE (10) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 3 lengths when sixth over 1600m at Belmont Park four weeks ago. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. KINGS CALL (8) scored last start at this track to make it two wins from two starts this campaign. Sure to measure up again. STRIKING FELLA (9) finished 11th over 2106m at Geraldton at his most recent appearance on April 19. One to consider. BORDER FORCE (6) is building into the campaign nicely and can play a leading role. SUGGESTED PLAY: Housewife looks the one to beat. |

TRADELINK HANDICAP 1200m
Strong tempo assured from King Cartel and Roey Clam leading the charge. CLOSE TALKER (7) booted up from the inside draw to sit on the speed last start then went on to register a determined win by half a length at this track over 1200m. Going well and should give a bold sight again. GREAT EDITION (8) finished fourth two runs back at Ascot then improved last time out to score by 0.6 lengths as favourite after being prominent at the corner over 1435m at this track. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. PLAY DICE (3) was below her best last time, finishing tenth over 1200m at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. HEWILLDOUS (11) produced another moderate effort last start when 6 lengths from the winner in 13th over 1200m at Belmont Park. Well placed to bounce back. ROMMEL'S GODDESS (6) was solid on resumption and can feature again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Close Talker can go back-to-back. |
