DUBBO RHINO LODGE BENCHMARK 66 HANDICAP 2200m
Strong tempo with The Bentley, Tavijewel and Sebilla leading the way. SPACETIME LEGEND (3) starting to hit his straps as he gets out to his right distance range. Jumps 4.5kg for this after defeating stronger opposition over 2200m at Scone in BM74 class. Maps well and can make it three-straight wins today. JASPER'S WAY (2) deep into the campaign and gives the indication he can run a strong 2200m. Savaged the line from the outside gate with a tough third over 1600m at Warren. Adept in all conditions and can race closer to the speed from the good gate. Each way. CHARLOTTING (8) made it back-to-back wins when successful over 2000m at Bathurst in the heavy going. Has raced well in this grade in the past and gets the right run in a suitable race. SPENZALOT (1) anchored with the 60.5kg for a determined victory over 2100m at Tamworth in similar class. Well placed again despite the 2kg weight rise. Sure to be thereabouts. SEBILLA (4) third-up today and assess on her good win over 2100m at Tamworth four-starts back. Maps well and can take a hand in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 3,2,8,1. |

DUBBO RSL MOTEL COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN HANDICAP 1400m
Good pressure from the outset with Nodefence, Ordinary Angel and Nothing Finer taking up the running over Pinero and Miss Peony. FLEE WITH ME (8) twenty-three start Maiden with her hoof on the till. Back in trip and went under narrowly with a nose second over 1600m at Warren in a Super Maiden. Gets in light with the 1.5kg claim and finds her race from the inside gate. NOTHING FINER (5) struggled to run out a solid 1600m with a tiring seventh at Warren in a Super Maiden. Brings a strong set of figures and can hold a position from the wide gate. Each way. MISS PEONY (4) finished in the minor money at her last three starts and ticks a few boxes today in this easier contest. No surprise to see her finally salute. ADAMANA (6) has struggled to draw a low gate at the last two starts and today is no different. Comes back in trip and likely to be ridden more patiently today. Place preferred. LITLFELA (9) mixing his form and assess on the solid fourth over this trip at Warren two-back. Goes into the exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 8,5,4. |

NORTH DUBBO RSL SPORTIES SUPER MAIDEN PLATE 1100m
Strong early tempo with Sunset Drive driving forward from a wide gate with Panelli also handy. THE MAILER (6) returns from a let-up and now in the Brett Robb camp. Failed to make an impression when fifth over 1543m at Geelong Lon May 1. Can sprint well fresh in this easier race with the 2kg claimer aboard. GOLD FINGER (9) finished in the minor money at her two career starts and doesn't have to improve much to win this. Strong through the line again when third over this trip at Bathurst. Desperate for a firmer surface and can expected to go close. FIERCE IMPULSE (8) unwanted in betting first-up and ran accordingly with a dismal fifth over 1200m at Warren. Has a host of gear changes and finds a very weak contest. ODAKA (11) never comfortable on the heavy surface first-up with a tiring fifth over 1200m at Bathurst. Has a solid SP profile and stays in the mix. LIFE IS A SHIRAZ (1) Bjorn Baker discard having his first start for the Brett Robb yard. Finds the right race to run a much better contest. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Mailer and Gold Finger bring the right form to take this out. |

ONE MORE EVENT BENCHMARK 82 HANDICAP 1600m
Genuine tempo with Just On Fire and Stockholm up front. STOCKHOLM (3) proven miler in career best form. Back in trip from the good gate when he demolished a handy field over 1400m at this track. Went under narrowly in the Parkes Cup over this trip two-back and should prove too good for these. BLACKLIST (2) kept fresh after struggling in town over the staying trips at his last two outings. Can stalk the speed and score a long overdue victory. LIKE LUKEY (6) performed above expectations when he swooped late to score a solid win over 1600m at Warren with the 59.5kg. Looks up to this class and has each way prospects. SHADOW DANE (4) fitter after two runs back and gets weight relief today after failing to threaten when sixth over 1400m at this track. Maps well and not to be overlooked. JUST ON FIRE (9) goes well at this track and trip and throw into the exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stockholm and Blacklist can stamp their class. |

Glowing Rapids and Deion possess good early speed. BOLO MISS (7) well drawn today and brings the right form to score a well deserved victory. DUBBO CITY & GILGANDRA TOYOTA DUBBO GOLD CUP DAY SUNDAY 28 SEPTEMBER CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1100m
Plenty of speed from I'm Kenough and Son Of Eureka. Big field with plenty of chances. HEAPS OF NOTICE (7) drifted back as fav on debut before rounding them up with ease for a soft win over 1000m at Parkes six weeks ago. bar plates come off and looks to have the ability to overcome the awkward gate. Go close with the weight drop. TROPIC (2) well bred gelding with just the one win from seven starts. In need of the run when resuming with a fading last over 1200m at Warren. Tricky gate and leading country jockey hops aboard. Deserves another chance. KEVIN (3) lightly raced gelding resuming on his home track. Showed ability early in the campaign last year and keep safe with the claim. RING MY BELL (11) can hold a forward position again and should be close to her top third-up. Stuck on well with a game third over 1100m at Scone. Top-three contender from the inside draw. SON OF EUREKA (5) resumes with a host of gear changes and the latest trial placing had merit. Leading player from the draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Trifecta 7,2,3,11,5. |

DUBBO RSL HEALTH & FITNESS BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1200m
I'm Kenough, Pattera and Our Celebrity to match motors but there will be other pressure. OAKFIELD UTAH (3) kept fresh for this after jumping sharply in grade on a heavy (9) track with a tiring fourteenth over 1500m at Rosehill in Highway class. Can overcome the awkward gate today and return to form with winning rider going back aboard. IRISH JIG (2) fourth-up for this and ready to peak in this easier contest. Was in the firing line on the turn with a courageous second over 1200m at Tamworth. Nicely placed to fill a top-three spot again. PATTERA (9) was a month between runs when he shouldered the big weight to get the job done over 1065m at Wagga Riverside five weeks ago. Has a good record at this trip and can play a major role with map favours. SORRENTO PALACE (4) improved last time out when up in trip for a fighting second over 1200m at Bathurst. Tricky map and place best. CHEAP SHOT (7) smart heavy track win at Bathurst, one for the exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Oakfield Utah and Irish Jig bring the right credentials to win this. |

DUBBO RSL CLUB WINTER COUNTRY CLASSIC FINAL BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1300m
Solid tempo headed by Yiasou and Jenni Divine. KELILAH (6) three weeks between runs when she ploughed through the heavy going to score a surprise win over 1300m at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Gets weight relief with the claim and no reason she cannot salute again. JAMACRI (8) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Indicated a win was imminent two-back, then landed the prize as favourite over 1400m at Warren in easier company. Senior rider hops aboard and gets her chance in this vein of form. JENNI DIVINE (12) mixing her form and backs-up quickly after she failed to make an impression on the heavy (10) surface with a dismal twelfth over 1200m at Wagga. Placed here two-back and can make amends on a firmer track. GREEN PINEAPPLE (7) found form at his last three runs and should get his required tempo from the low gate. Firmer surface helps and has solid each way claims. AILYAK (2) eye-catching return with the big weight and looks set for a good prep. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 6,8,12,7. |
