NUM TIME COMMENT
1 11:00 Ladbrokes Racing Extras in Multi Maiden/Class 1 1650m
Beau Warrior and Respite to take it up. KNIGHTS REIGN (2) continues to race well, the latest strong on pace when placed here over 1350m. Aided by the claim and will go close again. GEEGEE AUNTY JESS (4) comes through the same race but made up late ground and was safely held. Strong record course and distance and can improve sharply. LAST TREMBLE (5) was a close-up fourth in a similar race two back then safely held over further last time. Well worth another chance. RESPITE (6) continued the good recent form when she finished just a neck away in second last time out over 1350m at this track. Should be poised just off the lead. Close to a win and is among the chances again. REGAL HUNTER (3) can give a sight off the low draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Knights Reign.
2 11:30 Goodstone Group Maiden 1150m
Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a solid tempo. COLONEL BOGEY (2) was having first try at course and distance and wound up strongly to finish runner-up. Much fitter for the first run off a long break and can go one better. COOL AS YOU (3) was well fancied last start over 1350m at this track over a bit further but could manage only sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths. Can bounce back over this journey. EQUIVASTER (10) a former Victorian who makes debut this area. Has trialled well and best figures measure right up. Looks well-placed with the claim. UNA PALOMA BLANCA (11) is close to a win and another bold showing expected. GUBER (5) has been winding up late and looks a top chance chance.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Colonel Bogey.
3 12:07 Kevin Sharkie Class 1 Hcp 1350m
Moderate pace only with Nunkeri leading Fruit Of De Vine. MERLIN BEACH (2) was a strong maiden winner four back and has wound up strongly in the three runs since. Ran on well only try here and looks tough to stop again. TURBO CHOOK (1) went back early from his wide draw this course and distance last time but hit the line strongly to finish fourth. Sure to be tough to hold out. FRUIT OF DE VINE (7) switches to synthetic for the first time. Finished in the money two runs back and followed that with an unplaced effort, beaten 1.4 lengths, over 1200m on turf at Hobart. Low draw and nice weight. In the mix. NUNKERI (3) finished second at this track two runs back but couldn't cross from wide out last time over 1350m at this track, finishing 6 lengths back in eighth. Drawn a shade better and with an easier run can give a sight. SAY IT WITH WORDS (8) wasn't far away latest and can hit the frame with the right run.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Merlin Beach hard to stop.
4 12:47 Meridian Horse Transport Class 4 1650m
Don't Give Up to take charge ahead of Simply Deep at a strong tempo. IT'S JAGGER TIME (2) looks close to a win. Wound up strongly here over the sharper trip last time to finish a length from there winner. Has placed 2/3 this trip and gets chance to break though. DON'T GIVE UP (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, Extra trip a plus and should be improving sharply. SIMPLY DEEP (5) really dug deep to salute by 0.8 lengths three runs back at this track before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Should camp just off the leaders. Will be in this for a long way. NATIVE CLAN (6) had been rock-solid with three placings in a row before finishing fifth over 2100m at Hobart last start. Will find this easier. Well placed and expected to measure up. Among the better hopes. LAUGH WITH ME (3) is much better than last run and can improve sharply.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay with It's Jagger Time.
5 01:27 Stables at Spreyton Class 1 Hcp 1150m
Fast pace assured with Houlihan, Just Plain Nuts and Gladding leading the charge. HOULIHAN (4) was back on track fresh and is worth following up. Failed to finish when well in the market on debut then spelled before returning with a strong win here latest. Has upside and can go on with it. GLADDING (1) pushed forward when resuming last time and boxed on to finish 1.1 lengths away in third over 1009m at this track. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat. BRAVE JET (5) is a former Victorian having first run this area. Best figures measure up so watch the market closely. FRENCH SOUL (3) was a winner two back then skipped a grade and was safely held before another break. Fitter for two trials and could well present a better horse this time in, JUST PLAIN NUTS (2) has won fresh so worth keeping safe.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Stay with Houlihan
6 02:07 Safe travels Codi Class 4 1150m
Moderate tempo with Volkanovski leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. WILD DANCER (7) was a fresh-up winner here then tackled this trip latest and was solid without winning as favourite. Nice weight drop and fitter again. Well worth another chance. BILLIE THE GREAT (5) continues to race well with a win two back at Hobart before finishing a nose away in second last time over 1200m at Hobart. Placed 3/5 here and sure to go well. WILD NIGHTS (8) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1100m at Hobart, getting home by a nose. Placed 2/5 here but hard to fault recent form. PLATINUM REGGAE (9) had been racing well with two consecutive placings before last start managing only fifth over 1150m at this track. WHO CAN IT BE NOW (3) should be winding up strongly.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Wild Dancer can atone.

Kireina Marubrah has the pace to lead in what is likely to be a moderate tempo. Wide open. CAPTAIN CAM (1) is racing g well and may be value. Scored this grade here last time over 1150m but fitter again and has a good record over the longer trip. Can measure up again. ADACHI (3) went back to the tail and charged late to finish seventh at Hobart last time. Run was much better than it looked. Has a great record this course and distance and can improve sharply. TIKKEN (5) did well to score two back then placed over 1350m at this track, beaten 0.9 lengths latest. Should be thereabouts. TUSKEGEE (2) was a winner here before a break but returns on the back of a trial win and placed 2/2 when fresh. STAR TERRITORY (7) raced on speed before fading latest here. Strong record with Kelvin Sanderson in the irons, including a win. Best form puts him right in this.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Captain Cam.

Tideford has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. GODDESS OF ROCK (3) has been in great form at Hobart but also goes well this course and distance. Comes back in trip and meets both the placegetters again slightly worse at weights but has a great record with Burke in the saddle and can make it a winning hat-trick. WHIPPIN PICCADILLY (2) has strung together a host of good runs without a win. Overdue and gets chance. HAPPY CLAN (1) is another overdue for a win, the latest placing behind Goddess Of Rock. Deserves a win and should be in the finish again. TIDEFORD (4) split that pair finishing runner-up latest and is in the mix as well. ALPINE TROUT (6) goes very well course and distance and can measure up again.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Staying with Goddess Of Rock.
