Harpers Freight Maiden Plate 1300m
They look to roll along early with Eraja and Tassoro leading the charge. TASSORO (3) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1200m at Gawler after being prominent at the corner. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. MYSTRIX (10) was prominent at the corner and ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 1400m at Balaklava after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. REAL WORLD (5) ran a better race and finished fifth last time out over 1250m at Morphettville Parks. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. ERAJA (1) is yet to break through but is knocking on the door and has enough early toe to offset the wide alley. Could prove tough to reel in if left alone in front. MON PAPILLON (6) is going okay and is worth keeping safe in the exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tassoro gets the nod. |

Sportsbet Same Race Multi Maiden Plate 1100m
Pace genuine with Amical and Mr Vexatious pressing hard closely followed by Classy Sassy and Go Ask Alice. AMICAL (1) finished fourth when just tiring late fresh last start over 1200m at Balaklava. Fitter and capable of taking this out. SETTLE PETAL (11) returns or the Pickering camp after showing good signs on debut last time in at Balaklava. Looks to have come on nicely during the break and can make an immediate impact. Big threat. CADIA VALLEY (2) is on debut. By Street Boss and comes from the David Jolly & Justin Potter stable. Has been seen at any public work in readiness but a positive move in betting has to be respected. MR VEXATIOUS (4) will find this a little easier than last time and can turn in a stronger showing third-up. Not forgetting. TAGALONG MISS (12) returns and looks to have come on nicely during the break assessing her lead-up work. Not to be take lightly. SUGGESTED PLAY: Amical gets the nod. |

Creaser Constructions Benchmark 56 Handicap 1550m
Pace genuine with Moana's Fortune booting up to lead. PETIT EAGLE (4) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over the mile at Murray Bridge, finishing fourth and beaten 1.2 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. WILD RUBY (3) did well to score at Echuca two runs ago. Decent effort last time out when fifth over 1400m at Seymour, beaten 1.75 lengths. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. I LOVE THIS SONG (10) ran on well to get up for third at very long odds at his latest appearance at Strathalbyn over 1350m. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will prove tough to stop. MOANA'S FORTUNE (1) was last sighted winning over 2200m at Balaklava on July 30. CWill likely need the run but is lightly raced and deserves safe keeping. JOHNNY CIGAR (7) was a flashing light fresh and then left himself with too much to do again last time. If the pace is strong he can cause a late scare. SUGGESTED PLAY: Petit Eagle to win. |

Sportsbet Nobody Does It Easier Benchmark 56 Handicap 1550m
Moderate tempo headed by See De Night. DORA AURORA (5) improved sharply on her eighth two starts back at Mt Gambier with a win over 1550m at Mt Gambier two-and-a-half weeks ago. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat again. INFER (2) showed little early speed from an outside draw last time then wound up strongly to score at Swan Hill. Should be in the finish again. LUMBER DREAM (3) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when sixth at Gawler. Finds the right race this time and can find winning form. TOES IN FIRST (6) has been well below his best in his last two but there's earlier form in the prep that can measure right up for this. Don't dismiss. SEE DE NIGHT (10) was well below his best last time but had been showing good early dash prior and fighting on well. Don't dismiss completely. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dora Aurora to win. |

Bordertown Stone Supplies Rating 0 - 54 Handicap 1300m
Not much early pressure but Airclash, It's Only Magic and Rocktagon can take up forward spots. DODD (6) finished midfield when resuming from a break last time out over 1200m at Strathalbyn on a soft track when in the market. Has a solid second-up record so he is a leading contender. IT'S ONLY MAGIC (4) ran a better race and finished a long neck away in fourth last time out over 1200m at Strathalbyn. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. LADY OF SAVOY (10) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win. Did a good job last start to finish second over 1200m at Mt Gambier, beaten 1.1 lengths. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. IRISH BLISS (9) wasn't beaten far in fifth last start over 1400m at Bendigo. Peaking now and is capable of featuring prominently. AIRCLASH (3) is mixing his form but has some claims on best efforts. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Dodd |

Ti Tree Royal should find the front with Private Jet and Thoughtful on his heels. TI TREE ROYAL (1) did a good job last start to finish third at Port Augusta over 1498m, beaten 1.2 lengths. Top chance. TERRITORIAN (2) last appeared six-and-a-half weeks ago over 1706m at Gawler when he finished eighth. This is his first run for the Sarah Rutten stable. Kept up to the mark with a recent Murray Bridge trial. Solid chance for the new barn. PRIVATE JET (5) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing effort last time at Mt Gambier five-and-a-half weeks ago. Can bounce back sharply. THOUGHTFUL (9) was much better last time at Donald when chasing gamely into second. Is open to further improvement fourth-up and is worth considering. UNWIND (11) warmed nicely late first-up after getting a mile back. Kept fresh with six weeks between and is one to keep in mind. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Ti Tree Royal. |

Woolshed Inn Benchmark 66 Handicap 1200m
Plenty of pace with Dubai Dancer and Nasho up front, pressured by Hot Strut and Aquaholic. HOT STRUT (4) was in the money at first two from a spell then raced in town and then narrowly missed the frame in a blanket finish over this trip at Morphettville. Has upside and the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will prove tough to beat. COOL MAGNUM (3) has been okay when tackling tougher opposition in town. Will find this easier and can cause a big late scare if the pace is genuine. NASHO (1)
dropped out quickly in town last time when facing stiffer opposition. Is sure to have come on from that and will appreciate the drop in grade. Expect him to bounce straight to the front and prove tough to run down. AQUAHOLIC (6) hasn't been far away recently including last time out when second over 1200m at Mt Gambier. Will be handy despite the tricky draw. One of the better hopes. DUBAI DANCER (2) has been well below her best in her two runs back but is drawn to advantage third-up and should give plenty of cheeky in front. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hot Strut to win. |

Nevra Queen, Pianta and Mangione to vie for early honours at a solid tempo. UNITED LEGEND (8) ran a better race and finished half a length away in fourth last time out over 2200m at Balaklava after being in the firing line on the turn. Has the ability to figure prominently. RIKKI RIKKARDO (12) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 1.75 lengths over 2050m at Strathalbyn. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a major role. MANGIONE (2) finished 2.2 lengths away from the winner last time at Casterton on a soft track and drops in the weights. Should be prominent from the outset. One of the main contenders. NEVRA QUEEN (11) showed early speed from a good draw and led until entering the straight last start, eventually holding on for second and beaten 1.5 lengths over 1614m at Moe. Strong top-three prospect. THEODOR (3) was very impressive two back when leading all the way at Balaklava. Less effective last time in town but he can't be forgotten. SUGGESTED PLAY: United Legend to win. |

Border Blinds and Curtains Rating 0-54 Handicap 1100m
A solid tempo is anticipated with Refreshing and Utah Joe kicking up to hold out the next wave. WHOOPS A DAISY (12) finished just shy of the frame in fourth last start at Balaklava, an improvement on her tenth at Morphettville Parks the run before. Has the ability to find the winners' list. GUSTY WAY (2) returns from a layoff of five-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work at Penola. Capable of playing a major role. SWEET 'N' SPICY (10) finished third last start over 1100m at Bendigo, beaten 2 lengths. Ready to go a couple better. JUSTADEXTER (5) didn't threaten in town first-up when tackling tougher opposition but will find this easier with that run out of the way. Gets in well with the 3kg claim and can improve sharply. REFRESHING (6) backs up quickly and while she's been poor in her last two her best form measures up. Keeping safe for a minor spot. SUGGESTED PLAY: Whoops A Daisy to win. |
