Promising type with improvement to come so he will prove tough to beat. PHOTON GEYSER (7) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 8 lengths into sixth. Nicely placed to break the maiden status. RYUNO ESSENCE (4) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then she was always well out of her ground and was beaten 8 lengths when fifth over 1200m at this track two weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. LIA ARTESIAN (1) never really threatened on debut, finishing midfield and beaten 16 lengths over 1400m at Tokyo. Expected to improve sharply and worth including this line-up. |

VISIBLE LIGHT (9) followed an unplaced effort first-up two runs back with a third last start over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt after being in the firing line on the corner. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. JUN VICTOIRE (2) is back after a break of eight months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing third at his latest appearance over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Bold showing expected. YAMANIN EVOLVE (4) has recorded two minor placings on the trot. Turned in another good performance last start when third over 1700m at this track. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BENE SPIRA (7) is yet to break through after five starts but not far off a win. Placed two back then missed the frame but wasn't too far away last time over 1700m at this track. Will drift back but wind up late. Has ability and rates among the chances. |

DIABOLICA DONNA (2) has not raced since her debut on February 22 over 2400m at Tokyo when she finished fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths. Better for the run and can improve sharply. MOONSTRUCK (13) fought on for second last start over 2000m at this track, making it three minor placings in a row. Wide draw and will need a good steer from Eda. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. TEN MIRAGE (12) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a spell on 11 May, finishing fourth and beaten 4.5 lengths over 2000m at Tokyo. Sure to make her presence felt. WORKING DELIGHT (14) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2400m at Tokyo, beaten 2.5 lengths into sixth. Nicely placed to find some form. |

UNDER THE LIGHT (12) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1400m at Tokyo. Racing extra well but can't find the win. In the right race today and is a key runner. BERLINETTA (2) is back at the races for the first time since March 23. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1200m at Nakayama. Capable of playing a major role. ANTI JAMILA (10) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at Tokyo, beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth after being in the firing line on the corner. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SOUND LIEN (3) turned in another moderate effort last start when 11 lengths from the winner in ninth over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt at the second run back from a spell. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects. |

ROUGE VOYAGE (12) is on debut for the Sakae Kunieda stable. Two-year-old filly by Contrail from Queen's Advice. Looks set to run well. Betting watch recommended. GUARD OF HONOUR (11) is a two-year-old colt on debut. From an elite family that includes Grade 1 victor Songline, being by Satono Diamond from Luminous Parade. Promising type who cannot be left out of calculations. BRISA MARINA (3) is a nicely bred two-year-old filly lining up for the first time. By Saturnalia from Deep Love who has produced a winner at stakes level. Will enjoy a nice run from this draw and should be in the finish. I AM APPARE (5) is a two-year-old colt on debut from the stable of M Okuhira. By Leontes from Count On It. Watch the market closely. |

SONATAN (15) finished ninth when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt, beaten only 0.8 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Heading in the right direction and is ready to find winning ways. TAKINOBORI (10) finished third, beaten 4.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1700m at this track after he was prominent at the turn. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. TRAIN THE MIND (13) is a six-start maiden who could only manage to finish sixth at his latest appearance over 2100m at Tokyo Dirt. Finds the right race and is worth consideration. ENUMA ELISH (6) resumes from a spell of eight months. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Rates highly on best form and a bright return wouldn't surprise. |

B B EFFORT (10) has not been sighted since she scored over 1200m at Chukyo on March 30. Lightly raced filly who progressed nicely in the maiden prep. This race sets up well for her. AMBER NEEDLE (12) ran below expectations last time at Niigata, finishing ninth and beaten 4 lengths starting at $5.60. Has started twice at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Likely improver with strong prospects. KEEP SIGN ON (2) was last at the races when he finished 14th over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt on April 13. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. ATRIUM CHAPEL (7) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 14 when beaten 8 lengths into fourth at Tokyo Dirt over 1400m. Suitably placed so anticipating a bold performance. |

FEE DES LUMIERE (2) saluted over 1150m at this track at her most recent appearance on April 27. Started to really put it together at the end of the maiden campaign and should come back bigger and better this time. Has found the right race. MIGNON MAROON (3) recorded a strong maiden win over 1200m at Niigata Dirt last time, getting there by 3.5 lengths. Jumps from a nice gate and she cannot be underestimated. REGINA ROSE (12) is going well with three minor placings from four starts this time in work. Turned in another good effort last time out when second over 1000m at Niigata. Can take the next step and salute. ENDLESS SUMMER (5) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 4.5 lengths away in eighth over 1400m at Tokyo on February 15 which was the only run of that prep. Has won when fresh from a spell in the past. This looks a nice way to kick off the prep. |

Sure to feature. CUTIE LIP (13) accounted for a maiden field over 1600m at Tokyo last start, finishing a neck ahead of the nearest rival. Capable of making it two on the trot. GARAKU (2) got off the mark over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt last start, scoring by 1.3 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. This is tougher but she cannot be underestimated. COSMO ISHTAR (1) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 1800m at Tokyo, beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth. Well placed to turn things around. |

Great chance to break through in a modest affair. RECIPROCITY (11) resumes. Wasn't far away at the only run last time in work, finishing fourth over 1800m at Niigata Dirt ten weeks ago. Should park just off the speed. Best figures should see her run well. GOLD ALONE (1) finished 5.5 lengths from the winner in fifth last time out over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt on May 31. Worth including. ELECTRIC BOOGIE (13) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 2100m at Tokyo Dirt, beaten 5.5 lengths. Fitter so watch for a better performance. |

THE TANABATA SHO 2000m
DOURADORES (15) is back from a spell of nine weeks. Raced once last campaign and finished second over 1800m in the G3 Epsom Cup at Tokyo. Has an impressive strike rate at this distance with three wins from five runs and is sure to go well. COSMO FLIEGEN (2) is a talented galloper with a very good strike rate who finished off last campaign with a win over 2200m at Nakayama on April 20. Goes very well when fresh from a spell with two wins from three starts. New to black-type racing but is likely to feature. SIRIUS COLT (8) was an impressive winner last time over 2000m in the G3 Niigata Daishoten, scoring by 2 lengths to make it two on the bounce. Has a formidable combination with Yoshihiro Furukawa who has been aboard for those two wins. Has to be respected. SEVEN MAGICIAN (13) was sent out at long odds when resuming last time but ran above expectations to finish second, beaten only 1.3 lengths, over 1600m at Hanshin. Up in grade but not out of contention. . |

BABY KISS (6) lines up on the back of a respectable 1.75 lengths seventh over 1200m at Kyoto at Grade 3 level. Won a couple straight earlier in the prep against similar opposition. Ticks all the right boxes. FABULOUS STAR (8) returned from a spell four weeks ago when he was beaten 3 lengths into fourth over 1600m at Tokyo. Fitter and sure to run well.
