NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:05 Class 4 Handicap 1600m
UNION CHAMP (3) was prominent from the outset when second over 1400m at this track last time out. Has a high cruising speed and can take them all the way here. YEOSU SUPER STAR (5) is a progressive type still in his first campaign, but he is off to a great start to his career. Races well here and is expected to be hard to beat again. LIME TREE (6) fought on well enough to finish fifth over 2000m at Seoul last start, a less impressive effort than her fourth here the run before. She is better off back to a mile, and she has the ability to take this out. FLYING MENACE (1) knuckled down strongly to get within a neck of the winner in second last start over 1400m at this track. Stick with her on an each-way basis.
2 01:10 Class 6 Special Weight A 1300m
VICTORY STORY (2) is still a maiden after four runs. Was well in commission last time out but didn't live up to market expectations, finishing eighth over 1300m at this track. Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. JUST SHINY (9) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a neck from the winner in second over 1300m at this track after being prominent at the bend. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. STARTMAN (5) resumes from a spell of 11 weeks and is having his first outing under new trainer Kim Gil Jung. Finished fifth at this track over 1300m at the opening run last time in work. Sure to make his presence felt. POWER STONE (7) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 1.5 lengths from the winner in third over 1300m at this track. Has upside and must be respected.
3 02:00 Class 5 Handicap 1200m
VANGIE (5) won his maiden three starts back and is nearing another victory with placings at his last two runs, most recently when second over 1200m at this track. Winning rider Seo Seung Un stays aboard. Likely to feature. POWERFUL RUN (4) impressed when successful on debut over 1000m at this track a month ago. Has plenty of upside and should go on with it. RACE MAN (2) showed good early dash at the first run after a spell last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 2.5 lengths away in second over 1200m at this track. One of the main contenders. JJAK SARANG (7) improved last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in second over 1200m at this track. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort.
4 02:50 Class 5 Handicap 1400m
TOHAMSAN TAEYANG (10) is closing in on a win, last time out finishing second over 1800m at this track when just one length from the winner. Tricky draw but should feature in the finish. TUHON FIGHTER (1) finished out of the money two starts back, then was less than a length from the winner when fourth in a 1400m contest at this track five-and-a-half weeks ago after being in contention on the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. WONDERFUL TEAM (4) is a seven-start maiden who is knocking on the door, the latest effort a solid second at this track over 1400m. Another big run is on the cards. TEAM SURPRISE (3) fought on well enough for fifth here last time out and has a handy draw. She is overdue for her first win, so stick with her.
5 03:40 Class 3 Handicap 1200m
BEOLMAUI ANGEL (4) finished out of the money two starts back, then was a fair fifth in a 1200m contest at this track five weeks ago. Jin Kyum gets the best out of this three-year-old colt, and the pair merits healthy respect. YULIM SESANG (10) finished fourth two runs back at this track, then improved last time out to score by more than a length as the public elect after being prominent at the bend over 1200m at this track. Facing a tougher assignment, but he is capable of another big run. GOLDEN AIR (1) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 1200m at this track. Will again be prominent from the outset, and has the talent to test this line-up. NUMBERONEPICK (2) has switched yards since scoring by 5 lengths at this track over 1600m on June 29. Go again.
6 04:30 Class 1 Handicap 1800m
BEOLMAUI MONSTER (4) lines up on the back of a sound fourth over 1800m at this track. Has a good record over this journey with two wins from nine starts. His best form makes him the one to beat here. GREAT WINNER (5) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish a long neck away in third over 1400m at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. YEONGGWANGUIFIRST (6) was an effortless winner last time over 2000m at this track, scoring by 3 lengths. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Should be involved in the finish. STAR MATTA (3) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by a head over 1400m at this track. Solid top-three prospects.
