Expecting Shine And Burn to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. SHINE AND BURN (4) looks primed and ready to break through now, resuming off a sound trial performance. Ran some strong numbers last campaign in tougher maidens and can lead this from start to finish. The one to beat. OUR DESPERADO (1) placed 3rd here last start beaten 3.5 len and looks well in the each-way mix again. THROW ME A KISS (6) has moved across from Victoria and can measure right up here. Keep safe. HEILUNG (5) resumes in a tricky maiden, but best figured would have her somewhere in the each-way chances. GIBRALTAR GOLD (7) is first-up off a very long spell, and might well surprise these. SOMETHING PINK BREAST CANCER AWARENESS HANDICAP 1200m
Despite the small field Talk It Up, Treasured Queen and Baalbek will set a genuine tempo. Cracking race and they're all in the mix. SCOTTISH LAIRD (6) won here last start by a length and finds the right race to follow up in. Stick with. TREASURED QUEEN (5) narrowly beat home BAALBEK (3) in similar to this last time at the track on June 29, and there's barely a struck match between the pair again today. That form must be respected. ZING TO WIN (2) came through the same race and was only 1.75 len off the winner. Also goes in the mix. SUPPORTIVE (7) is an interesting runner resuming, she's capable of putting together a strong performance fresh. TALK IT UP (1) is tough to assess off seven months and just one run last campaign, but his best would have him around the mark here. HIGH PRESSURE (4) also not without some claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Scottish Laird to get the job done again. |

BLACK DIAMOND DRILLING MAIDEN 1400m
Expecting a strong gallop with King Of France and Perfect Ruler taking up the running over Lasting Legacies. Not a bad little maiden this. JEKYLL ISLAND (4) hasn't been too far away in his last few and should be right in the mix when the whips are cracking today. Major player. PRINCE OF BONDI (7) is off a freshen following an ordinary run at Northam on June 2. Wasn't far off at Ascot prior to that, and prepared to assess off that performance which would give him winning claims. PERFECT RULER (3) looks nicely placed back to the seven furlongs and boasts each-way claims today. LASTING LEGACIES (9) looked okay resuming and should be set to improve second-up. Respect. LENDANEAR (5) missed by a neck over this trip two back and holds claims off that run. SUGGESTED PLAY: Jekyll Island can win this maiden. |

Plenty of pace established by Love Drunk Baby, Parori and Hezangelic, with Pearly Nuggett close at hand. Plenty of live chances. HEZANGELIC (6) led from pillar to just shy of the post here in Cl2 grade late last month, and can go one better today. EEVALINA (1) produced a similarly positive ride when sitting on the speed throughout last start, to finish second over 1200m at this track beaten 1.75 len. Looks well in contention again. PEARLY NUGGETT (2) won very well here over 1100m last time finishing 3.5 len clear, and should have plenty of admirers again today. DREAMERS NEVER DIE (5) was second behind PEARLY NUGGETT resuming but should take plenty of improvement into this and might just turn the tables. Consider. LOVE DRUNK BABY (3) comes through the same race and shapes as an each-way contender once more. SUGGESTED PLAY: Let's go with Hezangelic to lead all the way. |

Be My Belle and Pray For Lucy look to take it up. No shortage of potential winners here. FOREVER FALYON (4) bolted in on resuming finishing 5 len clear, and looks to have come back a much-improved horse. Definitely keen to stay with her. KEEP A KNOCKIN' (1) was less than a length off in latest effort in a similar race, and should be right around the money again. BE MY BELLE (3) improved a long way second-up and looks ready to pounce with the extra fitness on her side now. Respect. SUNNY TIMES (2) was second at Bunbury latest and brings a different form line to this one. Rates well enough to win. RELIABLE IMAGE (8) won a maiden here last time out and can go on with it now. PRAY WITH YOU (7) and SABINO (9) also in with a show, and the chances don't stop there. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Forever Falyon to build on that maiden win. |

Purple Circle, Twist Of Gold and Ultimate Paradise to match motors but there will be other pressure. Superb race. TWIST OF GOLD (2) won a similar race at this track two weeks back, finishing 0.8 len ahead of nearest rival. Just needs to hold that form and can win again. PURPLE CIRCLE (3) won a maiden last start at just the second attempt and looks the one with most upside in this. Keep very safe. DATE WITHTHE DEVIL (5) is ticking over quite nicely this campaign and should be right around the mark again. BRULANTE (10) resumes having moved over from Victoria and bears close watching. MAVIS MYRTLE (7) is better than that latest run at Pinjarra, and looms as an each-way contender if she can bring her best. ULTIMATE PARADISE (4) next in line. SUGGESTED PLAY: Very tough, let's try for a boxed quinella with TWIST OF GOLD, PURPLE CIRCLE, BRULANTE and DATE WITHOUT DEVIL. |

Genuine pace with Science Degree taking up the running ahead of Queen's Sacrifice and Cocoon Bay. SCIENCE DEGREE (5) led all the way last time at this track, fending them all off for an impressive win. Very keen to stay with today. PULL THE TRIGGER (4) pulled up with a respiratory problem last time, so prepared to overlook that run. Two back was only beaten 0.8 len and that kind of effort would make him more than competitive again today. KAKADU (3) hasn't been far off this campaign and should be somewhere around the money again. THE JESTER'S SON (7) ran well resuming and should take plenty of improvement into this. Stay with. RULING DAME (12) was less than 2 len off in a similar race last start and looks an each-way player once more. SUGGESTED PLAY: SCIENCE DEGREE is the one they have to catch. |
