RARE AND RELIABLE (5) broke the maiden status at the latest effort before being tipped out for further time to furnish. Looks to have plenty of upside and should be kept very safe. ABSINTHE CAT (2) may have suffered from the dreaded second-up syndrome last time out but go on the solid win over this course and distance two back. Worth another chance with the 2kg claim. AIR WE GO (7) has won two of four overall including one over this course and distance two back. Will be ready to peak now third-up from the spell and looms as the main danger. STATE IN TEXAS (6) wasn't too far away in Listed company before the spell and is sure to find this assignment more to his liking. Draws the inside marble and can give backers a sight. Tricky race to assess with many of these babies facing the starter for the first time. Sure to appreciate the drop back in grade here and should be going very close to breaking the maiden status. VAREJAO (3) has placed four from five this time in work and looks to be knocking on the door of a maiden victory. Looms as a serious threat. BIRDSVILLE BOY (5) is on debut but has shown some ability at the trials and is sure to be well-educated from the Heathcote barn. Respect any market confidence. STREAK OF WINNING (3) is on the quick back-up but boasts two wins around this circuit and is yet to put in a poor one. Has to be included in calculations. BOONDOCKS (1) has placed three of four over this distance range and gets the services of Wiggins on board from a low draw. Ticks a few boxes. The well-related SUNLORD (2) (half to 2xG2 winner Splintex) resumes here for the new stable but showed enough when last in work to warrant consideration in a race like this.
