MIRACULOUS HANDICAP 1400m
FIGHT TIME (5) stepped up to the mile last start and was a touch disappointing, beaten 3.5L as a $5.80 chance. The form out of his last two starts has been red hot however, and Purton replaces the apprentice hoop as he drops in grade. Ticks plenty of boxes and can shed the maiden tag. FAIRY HORSE (11) disappointed last start over 1200m, but stepping back out to 1400m is a big tick for his chances today. He gets the in-form apprentice Ellis Wong on board and the inside draw is a big tick for his chances. Best form is good enough and this shapes nicely for him. SIGHT DREAMER (4) flew home late to finish in the money las start and the rise in trip looks a good play. Atzeni hops in the saddle now and while he's 0/4 at the trip, his recent ratings stack up. Can feature once again. YOUNG HORIZON (7) has trialled well since his latest run where he wasn't beaten far. Won't be far away with Bowman sticking. |

MR AWARD HANDICAP 1400m
CIRCUIT MIGHTY (1) sat on the speed last start but couldn't fend off the winner when a beaten favourite here 43 days ago. He comes into this on the fresh side again and Purton remains in the saddle. Wide draw this time, but he's on the cusp and he can go one better this time around. APOLAR FIGHTER (5) drops in trip today after a strong run when flashing late here 8 days ago. That was over the mile, though he's drawn to sit closer this time and Orman is riding well. Been a while between drinks but he's knocking on the door and should get his chance. VERBIER (8) disappointed at his latest effort, but the stable has hit the refresh button on him as he's been back to the trials and returning over 1400m. Wong's been on board for both trials and he remains in the saddle today. Should be close to the speed and should give a bold sight. SUPREME WINNER (11) is better than he's shown his past couple and now drops right back in trip. Can bounce back with the blinkers on. |

BIG PROFIT HANDICAP 1200m
GOLDENTRONICMIGHTY (2) flew home from back in the pack to miss by 1.3L on the quick turnaround last start. He's likely to be back again from the barrier, though his recent form stands out. He'll need some luck, but if he can run up to his recent form he'll be very hard to hold out. NOBLE FANS (9) bounced back to form with a 0.8L defeat here 15 days ago when running on from midfield. The blinkers go on for the first time today and he draws to be handy again off the inside. Wasn't much between them on the clock here 15 days ago and he appears the main danger. PARTERRE (4) rolled across to sit on the speed last start and gave a good sight, ending up 2.3L away at the finish. He was off a 62 day break there however and will be fitter for that. Draws slightly better this time and can put his best foot forward again. FUN N FUN TOGETHER (1) got the job done two back before a solid effort most recently, both on the All Weather. Big chance if he can bring that form onto the turf. |

PINGWU SPARK HANDICAP 1400m
FUN TOGETHER (1) was too good over this track and trip 21 days ago when scoring by 1.3L when sitting close to the speed. He's up in weight today, but he's gone to a new level his past couple and he maps to get every chance once again. Can repeat the dose. DEVAS TWELVE (3) resumed with a strong effort over this course and distance when leading throughout. He was only caught late in the race there and comes into this off a similar set up. Expecting him to give a bold sight from the front once again. PEJIBAYE (10) is a 3YO up to 1400m for the first time following some strong efforts over the sprint trips to begin his career. He's won his recent trial since his latest effort and the inside draw is a big tick. Can put his best foot forward now. THE AUSPICIOUS (9) wasn't beaten far by Fun Together last start and is racing in good order. Worth including. |

SOLAR HEI HEI HANDICAP 1600m
ETALON OR (5) bumped into one last start when jumping the $2.10 favourite and never really looking a threat to the winner. He was a clear second however and he's been kept up to the mark with a recent trial. Ticks a few boxes and if he can run up to his latest performance, he can go one better. HAPPY UNIVERSE (11) was solid here last start when sitting close to the speed throughout the race. He kept on strongly in the straight, only being caught late in the race to just miss out on the placings. He drops 1.5kg today however and his recent figures hold him in good stead. STAR BROSE (10) improved last start when out to this track and trip, stealing third from Happy Universe at the post. Purton remains in the saddle from an inside barrier and it wouldn't surprise to see him settle a touch closer this time. Commands respect. CALIFORNIA MOXIE (7) doesn't boast the best record here, though his recent form at Happy Valley has been great. Can bring that across to Sha Tin. |

MEDIC KINGDOM HANDICAP 1400m
SMART FAT CAT (8) has been impressive in defeat to begin his career, being the flashing light last start over this course and distance. While he tends to end up in sticky situations, he rates highly off his recent effort and he looks an improving commodity. Can get the job done this time. DO YOUR PART (3) jumped favourite in the same race as Smart Fat Cat last start and finished 3.5L off the winner, just ahead of Smart Fat Cat. He has the speed to push on from the wide alley and if he gets it all his own way up front, he'll prove tough to run down. WORLD HERO (9) won well two back and backed up that performance with a good effort here 29 days ago. Fresh works best for him and Badel can roll forward from the sticky gate. Has winning claims. ONLY U (14) disappointed last start without much luck, but he was in top order prior to that. Worth keeping onside. |

VICTORY MARVEL HANDICAP 1200m
KING OBERON (12) just missed two back but went one better last start when scoring comfortably by 1.3L at this track and trip. He's up in grade today, but he drops 4kg with the rise in grade and he maps to get his chance. Racing in top order and can go back-to-back. RAINBOW SEVEN (6) has shown some class early in his career, finishing just 1L away in his past two outings. He was in the market last start but just couldn't reel in the first two, though he continues to improve. Finds a suitable race now and can land the knockout blow. RUBY SAILING (14) is another up in grade off an impressive win, scoring by 1.3L over King Oberon at his latest start. Britney Wong remains in the saddle, giving him some weight relief. Should adopt similar tactics from the favourable barrier and can repeat the dose. BULB GENERAL (5) was solid from the back on debut and was spelled following that effort. Had plenty of trials in readiness for this and he can feature with Purton on board. |

THE HONG KONG RACEHORSE OWNERS ASSOCIATION TROPHY (HANDICAP) 1600m
Keen to see MASSIVE SOVEREIGN (6) back in action for the new stable, having switched to the Eustace barn since his last run in November. He's trialled sharply coming into this and Purton remains in the saddle for his return. He's won twice when first-up in the past and he looks ready to return to his best form. PATCH OF THETA (5) has had plenty of market support in recent races but just seems to find one better. Bowman hops back in the saddle and stepping up to the mile looks a big tick. He can put his best foot forward again. BEAUTY JOY (1) stormed home to win The Premier Plate last start at G3 level over 1800m. He rises in weight on the back of that win, but he was rather impressive and a repeat effort will see him hard to hold out again. HAPPY TOGETHER (4) was close over 1400m last start in The Premier Cup and has to be included stepping out to the mile again. |

SIGHT WINNER HANDICAP 1600m
MISTER DAPPER (11) made it back-to-back wins when holding on to score narrowly over this track and trip 21 days ago. The form out of that race has been very strong and he drops 8kg for the rise in grade. He should be close to the speed throughout and looks the one to beat on his current form. HUGE WAVE (6) finished 1.5L off the winner over 1400m most recently and is another stepping up in grade and dropping in weight. Purton hops in the saddle now from a favourable alley and he's sure to be strong at the finish. POPE CODY (9) wasn't beaten far last start here 21 days ago when flying home late in the race. Suspect he'll get back from the barrier again, though with some good speed up front he's sure to be storming home once again. MICKLEY (2) got back to form last start when narrowly missing in stronger company. Looks well placed in this event and has claims. |

JOY AND FUN HANDICAP 1200m
LITTLE PARADISE (6) disappointed last start when crowded at the jump and never really getting into the race, finishing 3.3L away. He'd shown good promise prior to that and he's since trialled impressively under Ferraris. Looks poised to bounce back now and he's a likeable commodity with his upside. SUPER INFINITY (5) got a long way back but hit the line full of running at this track and trip 21 days ago. He was favourite there and the form out of the race has already stacked up. Purton remains in the saddle and if he can settle a touch closer, he'll be hard to hold out. BUNDLE OF CHARM (2) just missed over this course and distance 12 days ago, beaten a head when a $7.70 chance. This looks to shape similarly for him today and Badel knows him well. Can be in the finish again. WONDERSTAR (7) led and won impressively here last start and while this is tougher, he drops 7.5kg. May take some catching again. |

ALL YOU WISH HANDICAP 1400m
BEAUTY BOLT (5) was very good in his HK debut, sticking on strongly to finish 1.5L off the winner at this track and trip. He'll be better for that effort and now Purton hops in the saddle with the gelding no doubt eyeing off the 4YO Series next year. Looks to have some class about him and can go one better this way. RIDING TOGETHER (10) was far too good from the front here last time out when scoring by 1.3L in comfortable fashion. He's working his way through the grades nicely and Teetan hops in the saddle now as he drops 5kg with the rise in grade. Can continue his current run of form. SKY VINO (8) got the job done in good style at Happy Valley last start and comes back to Sha Tin for the first time since March. He is back to 1400m today, but he's on the fresh side and Wong's claim comes in handy. Can put his best foot forward again. SOUTH STAR (4) comes through a good race last start and has some class. Can be in the finish again. |
