WIN TV & WAGGA RACING SUPPORTERS CLUB - COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN SHOWCASE HANDICAP 1400m
A few sit handy but there won't be a great deal of early pressure. DANTAINS PRIZE (4) was narrowly beaten at this track three runs back and again at Wagga before a below-par effort at that track last week. Well worth another chance. BROKEN IMAGE (3) was shaping up as though a win was close with a couple of placings before an ordinary effort at Albury last time. Inclined to give her another show as well. MISS PEPEHA (8) is a 15 start maiden but arguably her best efforts have been in her past four starts where she's placed in three so she'd only need to hold form to be an each-way chance. GIOIA RIVER (6) and STORMY MALICE (9) go down as place chances from favourable draws. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dantains Prize to win. Save on Broken Image. |

BEHLAU MURAKAMI GRANT ILP - SUPER MAIDEN SHOWCASE PLATE 1000m
Expecting Izablonde to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. DEKADANCE (7) has to be the horse to beat barring one of the first starters being pretty handy. Placed in all three starts and fitter for a recent trial. Drawn ideally and should be right in the finish. SPICE OF DUBAI (10) is on debut for a shrewd stable and is a trial winner leading into this on soft ground. Any support would be significant and should be noted. TRIPTOLEMUS (12) is also on debut with just the one public trial and it was a sound one in the same heat as Dekadance. Another market watch but no surprise if he runs well. CHASING QUIVERS (6) and MEGAFLASH (2) are worth including in the chances. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dekadance to win. |

NARRANDERA EX-SERVICEMEN'S CLUB - BENCHMARK 66 SHOWCASE HANDICAP 2100m
Star Blazer should be able to comfortably find the front. FIRST DAY (5) is in top form at the moment and couldn't have impressed more when scoring by a space at Wagga a few weeks ago. No harder here and the form has been confirmed. Should take some beating again. DUE CALZINI (4) had his chance to beat First Day then broke through on the synthetic at Canberra. He is racing well and gets a 3kg weight swing to give him a shot. DOC MARCH (10) is still a maiden but racing quite well of late with placings at his past two. Trip should suit and he's an each-way hope. TAUMATA (6) and FINAL COMMENT (3) both disappointed in their latest but on best efforts could easily improve into placings. SUGGESTED PLAY: First Day to win. |

EURELL'S & YAMAHA GOLF CARS NARRUNGDERA YARRAMAN SPRINT - BENCHMARK 74 SHOWCASE HANDICAP 1000m
Moderate tempo expected with Perigean likely to find the front over Danceenuff and Mr Moppett. COMMANDS SUCCESS (4) just failed at Wagga at his fourth run back and gets a big weight swing in his favour. Drawn ideally and wouldn't get a better chance to break through this preparation. PERIGEAN (5) resumes without a trial but did win first-up last time in. Past two wins have been at the 1000m and draws okay so has to be respected. DEEP SNOW (3) is right back in grade on what he's taken on of late and resumes with a couple of trials under the belt. No surprise to see him give some cheek fresh up. DANCEENUFF (7) is racing well and BIG DAY OUT (2) can't be left out after posting a last-start win. SUGGESTED PLAY: Commands Success to win. |

LEETON TOYOTA - F&M BENCHMARK 58 SHOWCASE HANDICAP 1400m
Looks to be plenty of pace with Major Desire and Graced battling for the lead. GRACEFUL ELLEN (1) won well at Bathurst when resuming as a short priced favourite then was a shade disappointing at Moruya. Find this a bit easier and claim and draw give her the chance to bounce back. SWEET PAREE (3) has been runner-up at her past two in a return to form so she only has to continue on as she has been to be a major player in this. SUNDROP (4) just found one better last time out at Gundagai. Racing in good form and has to be considered. WINEHOUSE (7) could be an improver after a second-up flop on a wet track. Did win well first-up. IMPENDING LOVE (9) next best after a handy last start showing. SUGGESTED PLAY: Graceful Ellen to win. Save on Sweet Paree. |

ELDERS NARRANDERA & COLEAMBALLY - CG&E BENCHMARK 58 SHOWCASE HANDICAP 1400m
Solid tempo anticipated with Geostorm taking charge. DUBAI CENTRE (1) has the 64.5kg to contend with but made light work of 2kg les scoring easily at Moruya two weeks ago. That backed up a good effort at Goulburn and only has to repeat last effort to take stopping. INVASIVE (2) had a shot in Highway company after three seconds on end in the state's west and wasn't disgraced at all at Randwick. Barrier a worry but must respect. BLACK ADAM (3) is up in class but got the job done well with an all the way win at this track a month ago. Could give a sight up in distance. ZOUWASE (6) is better than what he showed fresh and THEO FIVE (12) has each-way claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dubai Centre to win. |

MURRUMBIDGEE PROPERTY AGENTS - COUNTRY BOOSTED CLASS 2 SHOWCASE HANDICAP 1200m
A solid tempo anticipated with Magna Mak and Missy No Nay ahead of Swing City and His Honour. COUGARS (1) was far too good as favourite at Goulburn a month ago then eight days later ran an even race in a Highway at Randwick. Find this a lot easier and doesn't need to improve to go close, just a bit of luck in running. HELLINDA (3) comes off an easy on pace win at Moruya at his fourth run back. Same weight for the class rise and drawn nicely again so has to be respected. ROLLO (2) is a huge watch first-up since contesting the Country Championships at Wagga where he finished close up. Any support a good pointer. BESSIE LA BELLE (8) is in top form and MAGNA MAK (4) has similar form and stays in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cougars to win. Box quinella 1,2,3. |

COMMUNITY BANK - BIG DANCE ELIGIBILITY NARRANDERA SHOWCASE CUP 1600m
Copperfield should kick up and set a genuine tempo joined by Just Go Bang pressing on from the wide draw. PRINCE OF HELENA (3) is shooting for a bit of history having won this race the past two years. Had a similar build up to a year ago and not badly in with the 60kg. Should get a nice run and his chance to do it again. HOT BANDIT (4) is in good form with a Warwick Farm placing last time out and with the claim he has a nice weight advantage. Can run well. ZOUATICA (2) returned to his best form when allowed to run at Rosehill last time and almost held off Thunderlips. That's good form if he can repeat the performance. COPPERFIELD (8) has been working his way through the grades and a mile suits while LOUIE'S LEGACY (9) has a show. SUGGESTED PLAY: Prince Of Helena to win. Save on Hot Bandit. |
