1 10:10 Maiden Race 1800m
SEIZE THE THRONE (9) will find this a little easier than his third on debut three weeks ago, beaten 2.75 lengths at the end of 1800m at Tokyo. Drawn out but he will prove tough to beat. BLACK HAYATE (10) wasn't far away on debut last start over 1800m at Tokyo, finishing second and beaten 2.5 lengths. Improver who looks a major player. STAR OF ADAM (1) turned in a moderate debut over 2000m at this track on July 6 when he was safely held in fourth, 8 lengths from the winner. Plenty of scope for improvement. Expected to do much better. UNISON (5) finished midfield last start on debut over 1800m at Tokyo, beaten 14 lengths when unwanted in betting. Deserves another chance.
2 10:40 Maiden Race 1700m

Looks well placed so expect another forward display. MACHIAVELLI (2) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 1.3 lengths from the winner in second over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. RIC MAIN (8) went forward when resuming last start over 1700m at this track and held on well for second, beaten 0.8 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot salute. SENJU COSMOS (6) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role.
3 11:10 Maiden Race 1150m
SANTA ANITA (12) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt, beaten only 1.5 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Going well and can find the winner's circle. JURISTA (6) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of seven months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt. No surprise if she was able to get off the mark. LOOK AT ME (11) is a three-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at Tokyo Dirt over 1300m, beaten 3 lengths. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time. J L HARBOR (13) returned from a spell four weeks ago when he was beaten 5 lengths into seventh over 1400m at Tokyo. 4 11:45 Maiden Race 2000m

By Indy Champ and comes from the Sugiura stable. A good gate is sure to assist. Watch for a betting push. INDIE JAWS (11) is a two-year-old filly at the races for the first time. From a family of winners, being by Leontes from Eos. Sure to be competitive despite an awkward gate.

8 02:05 Allowance Race 1700m
SPADE UN (15) has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a second over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt when he was prominent throughout. Likely improver with strong prospects. In the right race and should be about the money.

ECORO RAISE (2) finished third at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 2000m at Niigata, finishing 4.5 lengths back in seventh. Akira Sugawara gets the best out of this four-year-old entire. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. SATONO SKY TURF (5) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 2.75 lengths away in third after he was well back on straightening over 2400m at Tokyo. Likely improver with strong prospects. TROPICAL LIGHT (1) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 22 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when ninth over 2400m at Tokyo, beaten 6 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason she cannot get the major prize. WIN MY ROUTE (12) resumes in a similar race to his only run last prep back on April 20 when fourth, beaten 0.8 lengths. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. One of the better hopes.
10 03:10 AIZU STAKES 1200m
RAPIER (8) has returned in good shape this preparation. Opened with a third in a Gr 3 at Kyoto two starts back then scored by 3 lengths as public elect last time out over 1200m at Hanshin. Has the talent to test this line-up. TOSEN ESCUDO (6) is back from a spell of nine weeks. Turned in a fair effort at Tokyo over 1600m at his only run last prep, finishing fifth and beaten 1.5 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ASK ONE TIME (6) was impressive last time out when third at Listed level at Kyoto over 1400m, beaten 1.1 lengths. That run should have him rock-hard fit now. Big chance coming back in trip. SHONAN HAKURAKU (1) last appeared on April 13 when a good fifth over 1200m in stakes class at Nakayama, beaten 2.25 lengths. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
