NUM TIME COMMENT
1 01:06 RINNAI MAIDEN PLATE 1110m
They should run this along with I'm Opinionated and Skyza taking it up over Incantress. Very plain affair to open proceedings. ANDREA (9) backs up six days after a modest effort over a shorter trip at Grafton. Finds an easier maiden this time and can improve sharply with the blinkers applied for the first time. Speedy filly INCANTRESS (6) filled a placing for the first time at her latest appearance, leading most of the way before finding one better over 1206m at this track. Perfectly drawn and is sure to be prominent for a long way. I'M OPINIONATED (5) led for the judge and gave those who took the 50s a huge thrill at Dubbo recently, ultimately being swamped late and missing the frame in a blanket finish. Big chance here with a similar performance. SANTOS EL HALPER (2) is fitter for three runs back from a spell and from a perfect barrier can figure in the finish.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Andrea.
2 01:41 TIMBERLINE F&M BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1210m
The race lacks early speed so doubt they will go too hard.  LUCK APLENTY (9) has won once in fifty-eight starts and that was three years ago but on recent form she is clearly the one to beat. Drove hard late only to miss by a whisker last start over 1250m at Taree. Nicely in with the claim and she appeals as the one to beat. RISK ASSESSMENT (4) settled too far back in the same race as Luck Aplenty at Taree last time out and was never a factor. Beaten just 2.5 lengths in a Class 1 over this distance at Port Macquarie the run before which is strong form for a race of this quality. SEE THE SAINT (1) travelled three-deep midfield before tiring first-up over 1005m at Coffs Harbour. Fitter and with a bit more luck in running today can play a big role. WANJINA ROSE (5) disappointed over 1015m at Coffs Harbour last start but can improve out to this trip. WELCOME BACK (10) has each-way claims with the help of the inside draw.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Luck Aplenty to score.
3 02:16 CAROMA INDUSTRIES MAIDEN HANDICAP 1512m
Solid tempo anticipated with Double Or Quits and Mars Rover pressing forward with Smokey Saint not far away.  Another mediocre maiden. SAINT CAYETANO (2) has only raced five times and has more upside than most. Not far away his last couple, both over slightly shorter trips in better company. Well in after Worsnop's claim and this looks his big chance. MARS ROVER (7) opened up a big gap mid-race then kept trying when headed to go under by less than four lengths over 1600m at Gosford last time. Big class drop today and should be prominent for a long way. COUNTERPART (3) went to the front in a change of tactics then battled on okay to finish fourth here at this trip recently. Should give backers a sight again. EVERYREADY BUNNY (5) needed the run at Taree recently when fresh from a thirty-day let-up. Placed at his only try over this distance so must be considered. Market watch on YOUKILIS (1) first-up from two years on the sidelines.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Saint Cayetano on top.
4 02:55 FISHERS PLUMBING PLUS BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1010m
Good early pressure with Skates On or Miss Molokai likely to take up the running.  MISS MOLOKAI (2) returns from a 192-day break and is a new arrival in the Sally Taylor stable. Best Victorian/South Australian form from last prep measures up. Trialled well recently and should be hard to toss. Veteran ADAMDEEANT (1) found the line well to be beaten just 1.4 lengths in a BM66 over this distance at Taree twelve days ago. Six-time winner at five furlongs. Big class drop today which brings him right into calculations. SKATES ON (3) led and tried hard but was overwhelmed late last start over 1206m at this track. Suited coming back in trip and should give a good account. TYPHOON NETA (4) is back from a 131-day spell. Races well here and is at her best over today's journey so she gets things to suit on her return. ABRAZEN LAUGH (5) hasn't won for over two years but can improve coming back in class.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Miss Molokai to win first-up.
5 03:35 VINIDEX CG&E BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1210m
Solid tempo with Reel Torque possessing enough dash to find the front. BONDI PROPHET (5) led and gave a kick only to be swamped by the placegetters close to home in a Class 1 over 1280m at Muswellbrook two back. Three winners have come from that race. Failed over a longer trip subsequently but back to six furlongs he looks the one to beat. WORKING CAPITAL (9) is racing well and lines up for the third week running. Chimed in late to grab third last Sunday over 1190m at Grafton. Just one win from forty-one is a worry - each-way the right option. GOLDEN BREEZE (10) has struggled of late in better races. Can turn things around. GREY EFFECTS (3) has had one run back from a break and was well held in sixth over 1106m at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago. Fitter and can feature.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Bondi Prophet.
6 04:11 RHEEM BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1512m
Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Archers Reign.  ROCK ARE STEINER (7) recorded his fourth consecutive minor placing when he made good late ground to get up for second last start over 1415m at Coffs Harbour. Nicely placed out to this trip and with a bit of luck from the wide gate he can pick up a long overdue win. HEART OF PLATINUM (9) is racing well including an eye-catching third over the mile at Taree twelve days ago. Coming back in trip is not ideal but this is a weaker race so he should be highly competitive again. ARCHERS REIGN (2) has raced on the speed but struggled to keep going in longer races of late. Draws the fence and the blinkers go back on today so it will be no surprise if there is a spike in form. MEGHAN (10) raced handy and wasn't beaten far over 1415m at Coffs Harbour recently. In the mix although the wide gate may be problematic. Veteran MALLEE BOY EXPRESS (4) has been hot and cold lately but can win if he brings his A-game.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Rock And Steiner to win the last.
