POWERFUL PARTNER (1) is a first-starter by New Legend out of Tapestry. Fitter for a recent trial. Should go well. NAOL PASS (8) is a two-year-old filly on debut by Save The World from Oriental Pass who has produced a high percentage of winners-to-runners. Filled a minor placing in a recent trial at Seoul. Ready to run well despite a difficult draw. APATEU (2) is a daughter of Hansen out of Tasmona having her first start. Well held in a recent trial with today's rider Jang Chu Youl up. Among the main hopes. STORM CHASER (3) is a two-year-old filly on debut from the stable of Kim Dong Kyun. By Triple Nine from Geumhui. Comes here off a Seoul trial. Watch the market closely.
2 11:30 Class 6 Special Weight A 1200m
AIRFORCEONE (10) will find this a little easier than his second on debut three weeks ago, beaten 1.3 lengths at the end of 1000m at this track. Tricky draw to overcome but he will prove tough to beat. THUNDER FIGHTER (7) faced the starter for the first time and finished fourth last start at this track over 1200m, beaten 10 lengths. Expected to improve and will pay to follow up. CHRYSOL PEACE (3) is a maiden galloper resuming from a spell after finishing 12th over 1200m at this track at the latest appearance on January 11. Looks to be in good order after placing in a trial. Can feature in the finish. BIBA CHARM (5) was solid on debut last start when beaten 10 lengths into fifth over 1200m at this track on May 31. Don't underestimate.
3 12:50 Class 6 Special Weight A 1400m
STREET RUBY (2) made progress last time out, finishing 6 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1700m at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. EUNPA SWEET (3) is yet to break through in five runs. Finished fifth at her last appearance over 1700m at this track on June 14. Well placed on this occasion and gets her chance to break the ice. ECLIPSE TANGO (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1700m at this track, beaten 6 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. BULGEUNTAEYANG (6) has been in the betting recently but has failed to break through. Most recently finished fourth over 1200m at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Strong top-three chance.
4 01:45 Class 5 Handicap 1300m
SEOBU SKY (3) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 2.5 lengths over 1300m at this track. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and he can go on with it. RAON THE CAVIAR (7) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 1200m at this track when she was handy all the way. Taking on a better line-up this time but she is up to the challenge. KHAS (4) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. STUNNING FLATTER (8) turned in a better run last time at the second run back to finish third over 1400m at this track. Well placed and can figure in the finish again.
5 02:40 Class 5 Handicap 1200m
UNIVERSAL (6) was an effortless winner on debut over 1000m at this track, scoring by 4 lengths. Will appreciate the drop in the weights. Should be prominent from the outset. Expected to be in the finish. MENI WIN (10) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing second and only 2.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 1200m after being prominent at the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. ROYAL PLUS (8) finished seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1200m at this track, beaten 2 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BREEDO TROPHY (4) has switched yards since finishing sixth four weeks ago over 1200m at this track. Has place claims.
6 03:35 Class 4 Handicap 1200m
SPARTAN (10) got home by 3 lengths last time out over 1200m at this track. Has a good record at this track with two wins and four minor placings. Asano Kazuya who has two wins when partnering stays on. Best form puts him right in this. STAR TREK (6) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with success over 1200m at this track seven weeks ago, getting home by 1.3 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. RUN WILD (9) finished second at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 1200m at this track, finishing eighth. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. TROT QUEEN (4) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at this track over 1200m. Placed to advantage so expect a bold run.
7 04:30 Class 4 Handicap 1400m
WILD WHIZ (5) showed good pace and went on to score by 1.75 lengths last time out over 1300m at this track. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. SMART BYEOL (6) was unwanted in betting last time but scored by one length over 1400m at this track. Strong chance again today. GLORY CITY (10) finished 6 lengths from the winner in sixth last time out over 1800m at this track on June 1. Backmarker who gets home hard. One to consider. AL SIMON (8) defied a lack of market support last start, scoring by 1.75 lengths over 1400m at this track. Worth including.
8 05:30 Class 4 Handicap 1400m
FREE THE ONE (8) launched his career with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 1200m at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Nicely placed to take this out. DAEBAK STAR (7) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but was below par last time when out of the placings at this track over the same trip. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. PALO ALTO (9) showed good speed and fought on for third over 1400m at this track last time. Is going okay this campaign, recording three wins and a minor placing from eight starts. Strong claims on best figures. MR.STORM (4) finished third two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by a head over 1300m at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
9 06:05 Class 2 Handicap 2000m
TAEPYEONG HERO (1) displayed plenty of early toe and went on to score by 9 lengths last time out over 1800m at this track. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task. EUNPA SARANG (2) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 2000m at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Has the talent to find the winners' list. MAGLE DAY (7) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on two consecutive occasions, before finishing fifth last time out over 2000m at this track. Kim Jeong Jun stays on. Certainly one to consider. GEOLJAK ONE (3) was safely held when 13th last time out over 1600m at Busan, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Well placed and can make amends.
