LATE BLOOMER (3) last appeared when successful by a nose over 1600m at Turffontein Inside 12 weeks ago, the only time she went to the races last prep. Has upside and has won fresh. Expect her to pose a serious challenge. BLINDFIRE (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1200m at this track, beaten 2 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. ELUSIVE RED (5) is coming off a last-start fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 1450m at this track. Everything points to a big run. ARIZONA MAGIC (4) was beaten 11 lengths into fifth over 1200m at Turffontein Inside at his latest appearance. No surprise to see him in the mix.
