GROOVE GROOVE (6) is a 14-start maiden who is well and truly overdue, finishing second at this track over 820m last time out after being prominent at the bend. Big chance to grab a well-deserved win. MYTHOS ODE (7) had been rock-solid with two placings in a row before finishing fifth last start. Generally goes well here. Among the leading chances. MOSHO (4) was in contention on the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close third. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. HIMARIN (2) was sent out at long odds last time but ran above expectations to finish second, beaten only half a length. Takanori Nagai has registered three minor placings when on board. Deserves respect.
