RYUNO PIRATES (2) was beaten just a head last start and landed his first top-three finish in the process over this track and trip. Sure to play a major role again. ORYZA RECOLTE (8) broke through for his maiden win last start by a head over 1700m at this track despite being unwanted in betting. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Winning rider Fuma Ono stays aboard and he is a solid top-three hope. RIVER LUMINOUS (5) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing sixth and beaten 6 lengths starting at $5. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. YAMANO RICKEY (6) proved too strong two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when eighth over 1200m at this track, beaten 10 lengths. Worth another chance.
