BAY EMPIRE (2) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1400m at Turffontein Standside, getting home by 1.4 lengths. Going for three straight and although yet to taste success here hard to fault recent form. THE MIGHTIEST (5) found the line nicely to grab second last time out over 1600m at Turffontein Standside. Expected to be there at the business end. ONE STATE (6) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 2 lengths over 1700m at this track. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and he is a great chance to go back-to-back. EIGHT HATS (4) brings the right form to this race after taking out a 1600m contest at Turffontein Standside last time out by 3.5 lengths. Should be involved in the finish.
