Solid tempo anticipated with Tel Aviv and Toronova leading the way. Keen to side with MELEK (1) who impressed when successful on debut over 1600m at Caulfield Heath nine months ago and has not appeared since. Beat a decent field there in solid time, if the market sides with him off the long spell he should be ready to go. SHANONI (10) was just fair fresh at Bendigo over 1300m but will improve quickly off that for the far more suitable rise in trip. HOTEI SENSHI (2) just missed in a handy race fresh at Bendigo before tackling stronger 3yo company in town last time and running fairly. This suits better and with even luck from the gate he'll take beating. MISS TRUSTFUL (8) didn't do a bad job when fifth last start over 1700m at Geelong having won there prior. Drawn well and should give a sight again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Melek to win.
