Good early pressure anticipated with a large contingent of unraced runners. AMORLIGHT (4) is a first starter by Earthlight out of Amortentia for the Enver Jusufovic yard. She looked talented coming away to win a recent jumpout by a good margin and can make her presence felt here. DARK MONARCH (10) is a son of Cosmic Force for the Bedggood yard who debuts. He draws the inside off a nice Cranbourne jumpout and looks ready to go. PICCINA (7) led to the turn over 1300m at Bendigo last time out but faded to finish sixth having run a similar race on debut. Fitter again and back in trip looks to suit much better. ANGELOTTI (5) finished fifth over 1000m at Pakenham Synthetic when resuming last start, beaten only 2 lengths. Comes on from that and draws well, respecting. SUGGESTED PLAY: Amorlight to win.
