Knights Emperor should lead and control the tempo. ROCK CATCHER (10) has been in great form with two runner-up efforts in succession, most recently when beaten 0.8 lengths into second over 1600m at Pakenham Synthetic. Bred to appreciate the rise in trip now and is nicely placed to break through. KNIGHTS EMPEROR (6) is yet to break through after five career starts. He was a touch disappointing out to 2435m at Geelong last time but back in trip here should suit better and he'll be very hard to run down. FIERCE FIASCO (3) finished third last time over 1600m at Swan Hill, beaten 2.25 lengths. Racing well this time in and up in trip could suit now from a good gate. WOLVES' DEN (8) last raced just six days ago when eighth over 1717m at Sale. The second placing prior at Geelong reads well, he can bounce back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rock Catcher to win.
