NEVER SAY GOODBYE (10) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish second here. Has the gate speed to cross from out wide. Change of rider to Osamu Shimohara who has four wins when aboard. Among the leading chances. GO TO MIJOKA (2) has strung together a couple of wins at this track, the latest on July 29 over 1400m when she scored by 1.75 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can salute once again. POMME (1) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when seventh in a 820m contest at this track three weeks ago. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. MEISHO SONIC (4) is back at the races for the first time since May 6. Scored over 1400m at Himeji at the start of last prep. Boasts a first-up record of two wins and three placings from six starts. Makes appeal.
