Has a fair record at this track with a win and two placings. Should be poised just off the lead. Expected to be in the finish. GAMBARU FUTOSHI (6) was comfortably accounted for last time. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. His best form he is right in contention. NISHINO ALMIGHT (4) started at $6.70 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth. Must raise the bar but a win is not out of the question. PURPLE PARAISO (2) has struggled to threaten of late but gets a chance to get things back on track here.
