From wide out Iris Azul can slide over and set up a genuine tempo. CORDON BLEU (6) resumed last time out and finished third over 1400m at Hanshin, beaten 1.5 lengths, after coming from worse than midfield on the turn. Stakes placed last prep so she has a touch of class. Looms large in this company. MEISHO SACHIDAKE (1) was in the firing line on the corner and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1400m at Hanshin after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Coming along nicely so expect another big run. SALUEZ (4) finished seventh over 1600m at Chukyo at his most recent appearance on December 6. At his best over 1400m so he can make his presence felt. MONTALCINO (2) is back after a break of six-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1400m at Chukyo. Worth plenty of thought.
