CAMBRIDGE EQUINE HOSPITAL 3YO 1600m Track: SOFT 7 True |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Strong tempo to be established by Vanitygirl, Single Red and Superbus. SINGLE RED (2) finished third in the NZ Oaks earlier in the year, and will be resuming from a short spell. She was close up in a recent tune-up trial, and resuming over 1600m is ideal. She relishes a wet track, and her class will take her a long way to winning this. PLATINUM DIAMOND (1) is a 3YO filly of real ability who found 1200m too short for her fresh at Trentham 4 weeks ago. She has had a trial since then, and stepping out over 1600m second up will suit her. She is unbeaten in 4 starts on a heavy track, and with conditions to suit her, she can take this out. ALACRITOUS (9) has been building her fitness level, and she is looking for a heavy track. She can secure a soft run from a handy gate, and she is expected to put her best hoof forward in this. VANILLA STORM (7) stepped up to a similar trip to this and got the job done by a nose at Waverley just over 2 weeks ago. She will continue to improve, and she has top 3 claims again. VANITYGIRL (8) won by a neck at Avondale. Go again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Single Red can take this out.
