Moderate tempo with Cool As Ted leading the way. ROCK EMPEROR (3) showed good gate speed on debut with a courageous third over 1000m at Tamworth in a fast run contest. Will benefit from that experience in this easier race. Hard to hold out. KNEEL DOWN (1) back sharply in trip and failed to keep up with a plugging seventh over 900m at Wellington. Extra trip in his favour from the good draw. Improver. INDI SPRINGS (6) returns from a four-month break after showing ability in her first prep. Ran second on debut, then struggled to close off with a poor fifth over 1100m at this track. Looks ready to go following a trial win at Wellington. Capable of getting off the mark. MITAKA (7) returns from a lengthy break. Plagued by wide barriers when last in work and primed for this with the two trials. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish. INFINITE VIXON (5) Denman mare on debut for the Mulholland stable. Finished second in her latest trial over 1000m at Mudgee. Keep safe with the claim. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rock Emperor should prove too sharp for these.
