Solid tempo with Leroy Brown leading from Uderzo and Gospodin. FINANCIER (8) has needed all of his starts since resuming from a long spell, and his last start here for fourth on a heavy track was full of merit. All of his 4 wins have been over this trip, and he is now ready to add to that tally. LEROY BROWN (1) needed his last start when finishing fifth off the front here 8 days ago, having over a month between runs. He has a good gate, and he will again take some pegging back. TALISKER (6) was put aside after a couple of runs in the spring. His best form is when the tracks are wet, and he usually comes to hand quickly. He has not missed a cheque in 3 starts on this track, and he will be ready to rumble fresh. HASSTOBEAWINNER (3) resumes from a spell, and he is normally very consistent when fit. A recent trial will have him fit to run a big race in this. Each way. UDERZO (7) is proving to be hard to catch these days, but he is more than capable of figuring in the top 3 in this.
