SEIUN GALLEON (5) turned in a fine effort to win by one length at this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Major player. DOTERAI YATSU (7) returns from a spell of four months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished eighth at Mizusawa over 1600m when first-up last time in work. Will be tuned-up for this and is expected to run well. FOX SLEEP (1) booted up from the inside draw to race on the speed only to be claimed late and finish fourth last start over 1400m at this track. Among the chances. CAT'S RISE (8) continued the good recent form when she finished just 0.8 lengths away in second last time out over 1400m at this track. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Deserves respect on best figures.
