Plenty of speed runners engaged, with Lord Amalfi, Kirios and Black Legend prominent. JUN DORADORA (6) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 7 lengths over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Takes on a deeper line-up this time but on that form he is the chief contender again. LORD AMALFI (3) accounted for a maiden field over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt last start, finishing a head ahead of the nearest rival. Re-unites with Seinosuke Yoshimura who was on board last start. Sure to prove tough to beat again with that win now under his belt. KIRIOS (7) showed good early speed and raced on the pace when first-up after a spell last start before fading to finish 11th, beaten 17 lengths, over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Fitter and can improve considerably. BLACK LEGEND (2) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 1700m at Kokura Dirt, beaten 9 lengths, after a win at the same track at the previous outing. In contention this time.
