Mitsukane Scorpio and Dream Encore possess good early speed and will set a genuine tempo. DREAM ENCORE (4) was out of the placings in tougher company two runs back then appreciated the drop in grade and saluted last time over 1200m at this track, leading throughout. Hard to beat based on that last run. SUMMER BRIDE (8) has been in good form, scoring three back at this track then placing twice in a row, most recently finishing second when she was always up in the leading division over 1200m at this track. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is good enough to take this out. MITSUKANE SCORPIO (1) last raced just eight days ago when sixth over 1200m at this track. No surprise to see him back in form this time. ECORO JADE (10) got the prize two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when second over 1200m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Worth another chance.
