Strong pace from Argyle Springs and Mishpat matching motors with Elderberry Wine close at hand. ARGYLE SPRINGS (1) made an encouraging debut when storming home late to just miss victory. With the benefit of race experience and backing up quickly, she should be right in the finish again. SABATINA (11) resumes after a mixed last campaign, but her peak efforts stack up well for this. Fitness from the break will be key, and she’s capable of featuring despite the wide alley. BROADCAST BOOGIE (8) didn’t fire last prep but had shown ability beforehand, so a bold first-up run wouldn’t surprise. ELDERBERRY WINE (5) ran honestly when resuming off a long spell and can improve with that outing. PENCILLER (6) was safely held on debut but is open to sharp improvement. Respect in exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Argyle Springs to win.
