Strong tempo expected with Moon Moon Moon, Polka Dot Tie and Varuna prominent. BEE COMPLETE (12) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with success as public elect over 1000m at this track a week ago, getting home by 4 lengths. That effort rates highly and although she's drawn wide this time around, she can bring up back-to-back wins. VARUNA (3) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at this track with success over 1000m at this track two weeks ago, getting home by a nose after being in contention on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. BIG YASHICHI ROOF (4) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 1000m at this track. Backmarker who keeps coming. Will be picking them up late. BELLEVUE DRIVE (8) showed good speed and fought on for third over 1000m at this track last time. Do not underestimate.
