AMETHYST (13) is a three-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at this track over 1200m, beaten 6 lengths. Will take a lot from that hit-out and looks a strong chance to break through. PIEDRA (3) is still a maiden after three runs. Was popular in betting last time out but didn't live up to market expectations, finishing fourth over 1200m at this track. Suited in this line up and is among the better hopes. FLAMME (9) is a three-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at this track over 1400m. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration.
