TENSHINO TORIBUN (8) drifted back then closed strongly to score as favourite on debut over 1400m at this track ten months ago and has not raced since. Sure to be further improved and can make it back-to-back wins. WARBUCKS (10) comes here off a last-start fourth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1600m at this track. Race sets up well for him. TOKYO BASARA (9) was prominent from the outset and fought on for second last start over 1600m at this track, making it three minor placings in a row. Has a strong finish. Likely improver with strong prospects. A SHIN PERIDOT (3) ran a better race last start, finishing in fifth over 1600m at this track. Better than recent efforts suggest.
