Geostorm has good gate speed and can overcome the wide alley to lead. GEOSTORM (9) stuck on bravely last time when third at Bathurst after pressing forward early. Maps to cross again from the wide alley and with that fitness edge can prove hard to peg back. SAINT PHILOMENA (7) showed good speed at Narromine last start when finishing third over 1200m. Is ticking along nicely and the rise in trip looks ideal. GREEN PINEAPPLE (8) hasn’t won for a while but is capable on her day. Is open to improvement with the right run. FANTASY CROWNED (4) found the line strongly last time at Narromine over 1300m and the extra distance here should suit. Can feature with another solid finish. I'M SCARLETT (3) boasts a strong record over this journey and is drawn well. Have to include. SUGGESTED PLAY: Slight lean to Geostorm.
