Taniuchi Kanta scored on him last time and retains the mount. Finds a tougher race but another big run will not surprise. LUMIERE (4) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for third last start over 1800m at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Likely improver with strong prospects. CARTE MAITRESSE (7) finished fifth over 1500m at Urawa at her most recent appearance on June 25. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Naoyuki Matoba. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
