MEINER WARRIOR (1) is in sparkling form, scoring at his last four starts, the latest win coming over 900m at this track. Isao Yamaguchi aboard again and expected to go very well. VESTLANDET (9) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1300m at this track after being in the firing line all the way. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. SUN SUIREN (10) scored at this track last time out with one length in reserve at the end of 1300m. Has six wins here. Manato Hida who has scored on her four times retains the mount. Should be involved in the finish. KANARRA CREEK (5) has switched yards since finishing sixth five-and-a-half weeks ago over 1700m at Nagoya.
