Genuine pace with Meisho Gishi O taking up the running ahead of Satono Forte and Cal Bay Cruise. SATONO FORTE (9) was in a different class last time with a dominant all-the-way win by 2.5 lengths at Himeji over 1400m. One of the top chances again. TAIKI ZIPANGU (4) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1400m at Himeji after he worked home in great style. Well placed this line-up and a key runner. CAL BAY CRUISE (11) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by a neck over 1500m at Himeji. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. MEISHO GISHI O (1) was in contention on the turn and finished second last time over 1500m at Himeji, beaten half a length. Nicely placed to play a major role.
