Verte Marin should have enough pace to lead a low-pressure contest. BEJART (11) is back from a break of four months. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when eighth over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt. Lining up today for the first time for trainer Yuta Sato. Expect him to pose a serious challenge. OH MY GOODNESS (8) returns after a spell of four-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1600m at this track. Yet to win first up but generally runs well with three minor placings from three tries. Has found a suitable race. VERTE MARIN (5) finished 2 lengths from the winner in third last start over 1800m at this track. Excellent record here having never missed the placings in three starts, including two wins and one placing. Winning claims on best figures. NOT REGRET (10) filled a minor placing when fresh from a spell two starts ago. Could not back that up last time when 5.5 lengths away in fifth over 1800m at this track. Fitter so don't underestimate.
