One Special Girl to take charge ahead of Grouse Mountain at a strong tempo. FLYING MEAN (4) was beaten as a short priced favourite first up at Sale over 1010m, beaten just a head. He's been mainly consistent over his nine-start career and gets Ben Melham aboard here. Finds a winnable race and can break through. JAKIVY (5) is a 17-start maiden who is knocking on the door, placing in both runs back from a spell. Wide draw but should be hard to hold out. GROUSE MOUNTAIN (10) is a consistent type who has been close up in all three runs this time in. There's been winning form out of her last start at Ballarat and Damian Lane takes the ride here. BENRIACH (1) should be ready to peak third up having ran on well to place at Moe last start. ONE SPECIAL GIRL (12) might be an improver at odds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Flying Mean to win.
