Genuine tempo with Just Chow leading the way. MISS XTRAVAGANZA (9) ran a good race fresh at Bendigo over 1300m when showing early pace, sticking on well to be beaten a nose. Better for that and rates highly here. ITWASONLYAKISS (1) put in a good run last time at Kyneton when just finding one better. Improving type who gets his chance here. MADE THE EFFORT (8) is a 17 start maiden who was solid last time at Moe when fourth. She can mix her form but has each way claims. ISN'T THAT IRONIC (7) is lightly raced coming off her best run to date when fourth at Yarra Valley. Tricky draw for the apprentice but is in the mix. Watch the market with the Maher debutant ELATION AND JOY (6). SUGGESTED PLAY: Miss Xtravaganza to win.
